1Now the Spirit [a]expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; 5for it is https://biblehub.com/nkjv/1_timothy/4.htm#footnotessanctified by the word of God and prayer.

So what is your take on this ?
Forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from certain foods.

I was thinking along the lines of Klaus Schwab & the WEFs NWO or great reset , where they wanted us to eat bugs and do away with the cattle because they fart too much. And they were all for homosexuality transhumanism etc.

However , that plan failed and they got nowhere with it , so here I am , looking at 1 Timothy 4 and wondering exactly what this prophecy might mean and how it might come about.
Any Ideas guys?

To help..... What denominations forbid marriage? What denominations forbid eating certain foods/ meat? A quick Google search will answer your query.

Key phrases: Depart from the faith, forbidding.

Faithless CEOs who never believed in God can't fall under that category. As Paul taught about foods, we have the freedom to eat or not eat whatever we want. However, forcing others to not eat certain foods is when it becomes a demonic teaching.

Forbidding to marry, hard to say, it doesn't happen often.

It would be blasphemy for someone to suggest that the holy, righteous, and good commandment of God are the doctrines of demons, so we should be careful to avoid making the mistake of interpreting that passage as speaking against those who are promoting obedience to God’s dietary laws. In Colossians 2, Paul interacted with pagans who were promoting human traditions and precepts, self-made religion, asceticism, severity to the body. In other words, they were teaching to abstain from eating foods that God said were good eat Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 that those who know and believe the truth know that God created to be received with thanksgiving and that have been sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Totally okay to eat lobster. It is demonic to burn down all the seafood restaurants because you think it is not okay.
God has said that it is an abomination to eat Lobster, so let God’s word be true and every man a liar.

So is the transgression of God’s law (1 John 3:4) and God’s law prohibits eating unclean animals (Leviticus 11, Deuteronomy 14).
Kindly note, this is not the sabbath and the law subforum.

speaking lies in hypocrisy
Start with the most prominent in the scripture and the one most prominent in the churches, which is the above

ProTip: It's never about the other persons, places or things

The laws are written against the lawless. In case we all missed the obvious it's not just mankind who is involved with that statement of fact from the scriptures. We all engage our adversary. Where the Word is sown, Satan enters the heart to SIN via THEFT. Mark 4:15.

Therefore SATAN is actually MOVED by the laws to resist them IN US via lawless thoughts that defile all of us. It's not optional. Mark 7:21-23

Law 101

The law is our ally because it is against the lawlessness and the lawless ones (who can't be seen)

Can the evil present within us ever be lawful, obedient and faithful?

Uh, never

We can do a simple cut to the chase on all end time subjects:

The end time narratives are about THEE END of the devil and his messengers, plain and simple

It does no one any good to look at other people to try to figure out the issues of end times

We all engage our enemy, the devil, in our own sorry hides in the forms of temptations. So where will that destruction take place?

Do the math

Very easy to say actually. It is public information available not only to Christians but to every man on Earth and is right in front of your face.

How can we be talking about anything else, Seeing that it is disobedience in the church that Paul is speaking of?
Well, the response was vague, so unpredictable conclusions are inevitable.

Nice cover for a response that was actually an answer to 1 Timothy 4.1-5.

Seeing the scripture described as a “response” was interesting, but in construing it as “vague” I think you outdid yourself.

Second half of the third of James still proving too much?

Isn’t it wonderful how Romans 2.1 never fails.

Unpredictable conclusions? Au contraire my friend, every one so far has been highly predictable.

No idea what you're talking about, but as long as you're enjoying the conversation, that's fine.

Paul's sense of the "Last Days" was likely the same as Jesus' view, that the Last Days commenced with his 1st Coming. His 1st Coming rendered the time of the end "near" in a relative sense, in the sense that it is now that we can decide for the Eternal Kingdom or not.

It is not "near" in a strictly ultra-literal sense. In context, "near" has to do with access, with access to the Kingdom now. Having that access made legally available by the Cross renders that Kingdom near.

In Paul's day, the truth about God's grace and freedom had already arrived. And those who rejected it inwardly began to make a pretense of religious devotion by forms of abstinence or religious rigor. It was not, however, inspired by the freedom that Christ gives us by his Spirit.

That waywardness obviously continues in our own day, particularly as we get nearer, in time, to Christ's Return. Just as Israel got worse the nearer they got to Christ's 1st Coming, so the world gets worse the nearer Christian Civilization gets to the 2nd Coming.

Only a remnant is readying themselves.
