  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You gotta admit Kat was half right - about the justice part that is. If prophecy was baseball, batting .500 is pretty respectable.
She said Pence will be the next president after Trump. If she did not actually say this year he would be president. There is nothing wrong with fiction. Half the books in the library are fiction. So if Kat wants to talk about Jello land and Ginger bread houses that is fine. It is good entertainment. People will learn how to fly from super man. They have houses like the Jeffersons and so on. Notice how she has a point of reference where she gets her ideas from.

I have dreams and visions every now and then. If people want to say it is my imagination that is fine. I don't care. Reminds me of the song: "I can only imagine".

As you seem to be saying but perhaps I'm mistaken?
My point is that the tribulation will occur after the year 2029. I chose this date because of the Apophis asteroid. Bishop Usher, even after 500 years, remains an authoritative figure on this matter. This is what AI states: "Jesus, also known as Jesus of Nazareth or Jesus Christ, was born around 6 to 4 BC and is believed to have died around AD 30 or 33."

So why do I say 29 instead of 30? It's because of the Apophis asteroid. Given that Jesus died around Passover, seven years later the asteroid comes around again on Resurrection Sunday. The comet thus marks His death and resurrection. They say there are no coincidences in life.

Luke 21:25-26: "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

Exactly. What seemed true four years ago has now proven itself to be true. These people who have been vindicated.

I wouldn't go so far as to say vindicated, but in any event even that would only apply if they said Trump would be re-elected without specifying it would be in 2020. The problem is that plenty of them did claim explicitly claim he would be President again right away. Indeed, some straight up, even after the election itself happened, were explicitly declaring that they didn't prophecy him winning a second term in 2024, that their prophecy was for 2020, and that somehow between November and inauguration day something would happen that would make Trump president instead of Biden and thus prove their prophecy was true (this obviously did not happen).

That is up to you to decide if they represent God or not. Mostly they just offer entertainment, so it is not as if it makes any real difference. They like to be in the spot light and that is fine with me. I like to be behind the scenes.

NASA made that very easy. And Revel. chapts 6-8 confirms it. I chose the year 2029 for Shmittah cycle reasons.

You didn't quote Bishop Usher (which I've never heard of), but did quote from AI, (saying what I already know)...? Neither of them providing a reason why you believe that the Tribulation will start in 2029.
So why do I say 29 instead of 30? It's because of the Apophis asteroid. Given that Jesus died around Passover, seven years later the asteroid comes around again on Resurrection Sunday. The comet thus marks His death and resurrection. They say there are no coincidences in life.
Scrunching objects and events together into one so that they seem to be related when they're not, reduces believability.

The quote that there are no coincidences in life.. is disregarding all of them. I googled. The first gave 40 examples.
Luke 21:25-26: "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
That verse is describing the events that will occur during the 7 year Tribulation.. Certainly not including any comet that wasn't even mentioned in any text that descibe in detail the events of Jesus' crucifixion, death, and resurrection.
