Sounds like a great trade. For the USA in particular. The Danes could just call it Greater Solvang. And then they could get busy rebuilding LA.

CA can be a nation on its own with its own population.

Aren't the Danes mostly Lutheran, anyway? They may not be practicing, but it's still part of their heritage.
