So far, at least nine (now ~40) (now >70) judges, including Trump appointees, have called a halt to Trump executive actions

Numerous federal district judges around the country have blocked major portions of Trump’s early agenda — but Supreme Court showdowns loom.

That trend reached a crescendo Friday when U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols — a Trump appointee — blocked a plan by Trump and Elon Musk to put 2,200 USAID employees on leave, part of a rapid-fire effort to dismantle the foreign aid agency. Hours later, a federal judge in New York blocked Musk and his allies from accessing sensitive Treasury records, citing a risk of improper disclosure or hacking. The ruling by U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer, an Obama appointee, was the most sweeping of its kind so far.

In some cases, judges are voicing distress and even visceral fury as they stand in Trump’s way.

“It has become ever more apparent that to our president, the rule of law is but an impediment to his policy goals,” said U.S. District Judge John Coughenour, a Seattle-based appointee of Ronald Reagan, as he blocked Trump’s birthright citizenship policy. “The rule of law is, according to him, something to navigate around or simply ignore.”

[Othes:]
  • blocked Trump’s effort to implement a blanket freeze on billions of dollars in federal spending.
  • halted a government-wide program encouraging thousands of federal workers to resign.
  • block Treasury officials from sharing details of the government’s massive payment system — accessed by allies of Musk — with anyone outside the department.
  • blocked the implementation of Trump’s order to transfer transgender women inmates to men’s prisons.
  • blocking Trump’s birthright citizenship order.
  • barred the Trump administration from disclosing the names of FBI agents who worked on Jan. 6 cases

I have seen Amy Coney Barrett act with integrity and honesty. She is conservative, but she knows right from Trump's grievous wrongs.
Roberts values his legacy. Every historian in the country needs to send him drafts of their articles and books---so that he knows that by supporting Trump he will be right beside the Dred Scott decision justice in history. Let him do the right thing.

I was explaining why I said that Biden went through the same thing that Trump is going through
Ah, I see, yes poorly crafted Executive Orders are challenged in court all of the time, how many of Joe’s had been blocked by a court?

I don't care. Its not a contest. Neither Joe or Don are a concern to me. I represent Jesus my friend.

Uh huh, so your assertion that “Biden went through the same thing”, was just casual indifference to our Presidents’ Executive Orders?
Okay.

Okay.
It was so no one puts their hope in politicians. None of them lead us to Jesus but the opposite way actually

Not sure if there's a full list somewhere--unfortunately, trying to search for information on Biden's executive orders that were blocked now just gives me mostly articles about Trump's executive orders being blocked.

This video from two years ago (thus it wouldn't give any that happened afterwards) claims "at least four" executive orders were struck down by courts:

It cites the Eviction Moratorium, Vaccine Mandate, Power Regulations, and Student Loans.

Of course, that's not quite the same question. You asked the number that were blocked by courts, and this is the number struck down. When one is blocked, that's a temporary measure until a court actually decides the issue, and if they deny it still then it's struck down.

An earlier source I found from 2021 claims courts have "struck against" him seven times:

However, this is behind a paywall, so I can't look at the specifics (all I can see in the preview is the vaccine mandate), and it's not clear whether these were blocked or struck down.

The thing is we know some of these orders and actions will be upheld eventually. We knew and so did Trump that there would be LOTS of filings to oppose him. There was no way the left was going to let him move ahead without as much opposition as possible. Sure there will be some that won't be upheld. Thats to be expected as well.

I look forward to further proceedings that will allow Trump to move forward.

The Trump administration is very used to losing in court. When it comes to litigation against its policies, the first Trump administration had a win rate of about 27% and a partial win/loss rate of about 11%.

In comparison, the average presidential administration tends to win about 65% of their court cases, with another 15-20% being split decisions.

The Biden administration had a slightly below average win rate (55%, with about 15% being mixed decisions).

However, the Biden administration - vastly more so than any preceding administration - was a victim of venue/judge shopping. Fully half of the challenges to its policies were filed in the 5th Circuit. The 5th Circuit is notoriously home to judges who heavily favour "conservative" legal theories which the Supreme Court then overturns, often noting errors in fact or legal merit.

In comparison, the Trump administration saw just under a third of its cases tried in the left leaning 9th Circuit. However, given that this is the largest jurisdiction by population, it usually sees about 25% of cases anyway so that's not too out of the ordinary.

Where are these numbers from?

Off-topic, I know, but I would just like to say I appreciate your attempts, here and elsewhere, at diligent research to get to the facts and accurate details of any issues you comment on. It's a fresh perspective in an age where assertions are taken as fact and wild conspiracy theories are accepted without question. Thank you.

-- A2SG, I may not always agree with your conclusions, but I always appreciate the effort to research the issue and get the facts straight....

Vance and Musk question the authority of the courts as Trump's agenda faces legal pushback

Over the past 24 hours, officials ranging from billionaire Elon Musk to Vice President JD Vance have not only criticized a federal judge's decision early Saturday that blocks Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Treasury Department records, but have also attacked the legitimacy of judicial oversight, a fundamental pillar of American democracy, which is based on the separation of powers.

C'mon guys. Three branches of government? Schoolhouse Rock?

At least ten. Oh, I guess he's one of the 9, but saying it a bit louder that he wasn't kidding when he issued the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO).
