We cannot force Arab nations to take on millions of refugees.
But we can sure force European countries to take on millions of Syrian refugees. Go figure.

Only we should take on Muslim Arabs, because we are Muslim Arabs and the integration into our Islamic culture is such a perfect fit!

[Sarcasm]

Lol .. they only want to kill us and take over the world - no big deal... We should invite them in, perhaps give them the nuclear launch codes.

All I am saying is that you know there is a problem with the Gazans when other neighboring Muslim countries are refusing to take them and prefer they die in a war zone.

I think it is interesting how the same people who demanded countries take on millions of Syrian refugees are now silent about taking Palestinian refugees.
Are you serious? This is an obvious attempt to switch topics - the issue we are talking about is not willingness to take on refugees, it is the fact that a sitting US President is recklessly suggesting the forced resettlement of an entire people. Yes, if this imperialist bully gets his way, refugees will need to find a home. But it is Mr. Trump who is creating this issue in this first place! And you know this, but attempt to deflect.

They are extremists. No one wants them because of the whole death cult thing.

They are as deep into political Islam as it gets plus they have mixed it with elements of Marxism.

Anyone who is right now in Gaza, even the women, can be considered a danger. It's the problem no nation wants. Hyper extreme political Islam that worships death.

This has to be done very carefully, with hopefully a solid reintegration into life.

An entire people? Most are Arabs from neighboring areas. Hamas created this situation. Trump is just trying to fix it...

This is the only realistic plan forward. You can't rebuild Gaza as it is. Hamas has dug a vast network of tunnels under the entire terrorist enclave. Much of the ground is not stable to build new buildings, if the current ones are even structurally sounds due to the tunnels and war destruction. People can't live there while it gets rebuilt. The entire place needs to be leveled and the ground stabilized before anything new can be built. That's Hama's fault, they dug the tunnels and brought this nightmare here - all with support of the people there.

Letting them rebuild themselves will only result in the same terrorist enclave. They had a chance to build it as a Palestinian state and they chose to build a land of a terror oriented death cult. They have had since 1948 to get it together and at every chance and every time for choice they have chosen to call for death and destruction of the Jews. Time's up.

I still don't think we need to be there and do it.

We can help make all the agreements, but Arab countries (UAE and Saudi) need a solid role - not the US

We aren't good at this sort of thing in Arab countries, they need to work on this.

That is not what I am seeing. From what I understand, they are talking about relocating them while clean up and reconstruction efforts are in effect for the safety of the Gazan people to eventually return once the finally have homes to return to. The Gazan people have no other option but to resettle because there is literally nothing but rubble waiting for them in their towns.

Palestinians are Arabs. Specifically Arabs who originally were subjects of the old Ottoman Empire.
Im sorry but this comes off as kind of "American" lol. There is a big difference ethnically between Palestinians, that descended from the Canaanites. And Egyptians for example. It's not just some giant blanket where everyone is simply "Arab" and that's that.

Well they're all arabs, so they won't care if we just pick up arabs from one country and drop them into another.

That's just not how it is. It's not like new Yorkers vs Californians.

There are gulf arabs, North African arabs, Sudanese arabs etc. very different ethnic groups that in some cases even wage war with one another. So it's not as simple as just saying, well they're all arabs so they won't care if we just move them into another country

No service isn't going to get people to move. It'll just make people hungry and potentially more violent.

Not that I disagree, but, cutting funding to Gaza isn't going to magically convince Egypt or Jordan to take a million refugees.

Like 2 million people are just going to get up and walk into the ocean or something.
You forget the trail of tears. You forget Hitler's death march.
Do not underestimate man's inhumanity to man...we are about to see another shameful chapter.

Did Mr. Trump attack Israel and took hostages? Did Mr. Trump level entire cities? No, he didn't. So explain to me exactly how Trump "created this issue in the first place." Last I checked, the issues started under Biden's watch.

But cutting funding and trade to Egypt and Jordan will...it worked on Mexico and Columbia!

Agreed. Under Israeli control, Gaza was a coastal paradise. The PLO and Hamas have turned it into a sewer. It needs to start over...

On my morning drive to work I flip my radio between an abc & Fox News station. I heard it reported that Trump said that Gaza is uninhabitable until it is rebuilt and that the population transfers would be temporary. Whether this is doable or not, it didn’t sound as crazy as the hype I hear. I also heard that protesters outside the White House oppose this cause Gaza ain’t for sale; they are always chock full of solutions. I can’t remember which station I heard this on,

TBT, they have already been driven out of their bombed out cities to Raffa, in a horrible act of cruelty and genocide, but we are about to see another leg of the journey.

Reeducation and being the new governing body was my thoughts for the Arabs beyond resettlement.

Reeducation in some way to get them away from extremism. After there needs to be an Arab government that isn't extreme

Your not going to find places for all the Palestinians. It's too many people too fast for countries to take in and be able to give them all jobs, housing etc.

If you start relocating now (start with elderly, families etc) for actual citizenship resetting then you can decrease the population of Gaza enough to make the rebuilding efforts worth it.

Then you have an Arab coalition government that's not extreme, and not from that area at all governing the rebuilt Gaza. (Someone like the UAE)
