Refuse? That word is doing a whole lot of work and projecting intent with absolutely no information on their background, how long they have been in this country, and if its even true or social media nonsense for clicks and views.

Kids usually pick up languages faster than adults and I've seen even very young kids translate for older adults.

I wonder if he would be complaining if they were from Germany or Russia and unable to speak English.
That’s true. Younger people’s brains are more plastic and are able to learn languages quicker. As someone gets older, it’s harder and harder to learn a new language.

There should be a merciful way of handling deportation without separating children from their families.
I agree 100%

Absolutely.
What happens to children when their parents go to jail?
Aren't they separated?
I agree there needs to be a humane way of doing it but it's a difficult job

I get that, but we must always keep the mind of Christ in these things. Immigration laws need to be obeyed and respected, no question, but I feel like some can get carried away and be hostile and forgo the fruits of the Spirit when handling this situation. A country has a right to secure its borders.

I find it odd how people with “dual-citizenship” [USA & Kingdom of God], have such black & white views when it comes to immigration.

he could seek as a next step to retroactively remove the putative citizenship of others like these deportee children born here.

Trump revives push to denaturalize US citizens

Last week, Trump rebooted the effort, ordering "adequate resources" be spent to denaturalize some U.S. citizens as part of his broader plan to restrict immigration.

Tucked among the priorities listed in his Day 1 executive orders was a one-line reference to enforcing a section of immigration law under which the government can revoke an immigrant's U.S. citizenship if it was "unlawfully procured."

Trump's approach – called for by the conservative Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 – has been far broader. Mark Krikorian, executive director of the right-leaning Center for Immigration Studies said casting a wider net, in search of fraud or misrepresentations, makes sense.

Through the two world wars and into the 1950s, some 22,000 immigrants saw their U.S. citizenship revoked.

The Supreme Court put an end to politically driven denaturalization campaigns in 1967, ruling that the government could only revoke an immigrant's citizenship in the case of fraud or "willful misrepresentation."

"In the first Trump administration, we saw quite a large increase in the number of denaturalization proceedings," Burke Robertson said. "It’s clear his (new) administration seems to be starting where they left off."

As ever, the cruelty is the point.

How is it black and white views? I didn’t get that impression.

Agreed. I sure hope Pam Bondi doesn't pull a Jeff Sessions and use the bible to 'justify' family separation. Trump seemed fond of that policy...

The end result: acres of unpicked oranges roasting in the California sun at the height of the season.
Florida is not going to pick up the slack.

Florida orange growers are bracing for yet another record-low harvest as [the climate hoax] and diseased trees continue to cripple the once bustling industry.

The state is expected to produce 90% fewer oranges than it did 30 years ago, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's January forecast.

Last year, a major labor group representing growers shut down due to financial constraints. And this month, one of the state's largest producers is getting out of citrus altogether, saying it is no longer "economically viable."

Ah, very interesting, since Quakers, if I understand correctly, are largely apolitical.
They're none worldly. So, they wouldn't government officials bugging them. Or sticking their nose in their business.

Yeah I’ve witnessed this myself. My wife & two daughters are from the Philippines and both of my daughters speak English perfectly but my wife still has an accent and often uses incorrect grammar.

What are we securing our boarders from tho? People coming over looking for work? The radios of honest hardworking people to criminals is extremely low in this case. The vast majority of them are just people who are desperately in need of help.
