You said ( from what I gathered that everyone had a problem with it now and I said that the problem was not new and that some people have had a problem with birthright citizenship for years or decades.

And people who commit illegal actions are called criminals.
Now, how that criminal should be treated depends on the crime not all crimes or criminals are equal. Which is why I and others support some type of path to citizenship for those whose only crime is being here, and why there are a number of programs for certain non violent criminals focused on addressing the issue that led to their crime.

The position that illegals are "not subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States is an interesting take for a group of people who want to fight crime. If they're "not subject to the jurisdiction" of the United States, you can't arrest them for crimes; you can only expel them.

And that is EXACLTY what they should do - no courts - no long process - just ship them home.

So, somebody is here illegally, commits a violent crime like murder or rape, and all you want to do is put them on a bus to go home?

Once again, two words -- "No person" -- are very important. This time in the Fifth Amendment with regard to who can be deprived of due process and other legal protections.

Except that people are entitled to due proccess in this country. I could see someone shoot you dead for no reason know it was for no reason, but you STILL have the right to fight it in court and yes win if the police did not dot their Is and cross their TS.

Actually as the 14th amendment precudes that pretty sure that such an EO would not be enforceable.
And this is how you enforce the unenforceability of this illegal order

You do know who signed the executive order..?
Wait! Let me guess!

The person who outperformed the very best Candidate the Democratic Party had - winning the Popular Vote - The Electoral College - every Swing State - the highest percentage of minority votes for a Republican in 40 years.

That guy?

Yep. He's the one. And I guess that you think that by noting that that guy won the election to become the man who now represents your country to the world it becomes some kind of positive. I suppose that's the alternative reality we now live in. 'Not only is he a criminal, but goshdarn, he's our president as well!'

You know that it's been suggested by Tr*mp (I've disguised his name for privacy reasons) that convicted criminals who have then been found to have sexually assaulted American women should be deported. What's your personal view on that?

It depends if you just deport them for serious crimes all that does is basically give them no penalty either. On the other hand, if a person is only here illegally and that is their only crime that does not mean that they are a bad peson and in many cases they want to do well and help soceity.

It's not a matter of ending it. It's a matter of it shouldn't apply to those who are in the US illegally.
The amendment was set up to apply to anyone born here, so until it is editted that is what we are working with, and thus it cannot be changed without a process.
