  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thus says the Lord

Thus says The Lord to all diviners, false prophets and dreamers of dreams, even to all who speak falsely in My name, sharing visions of escape and avoidance of testing:
You shall by no means escape the Day of The Lord’s anger when it comes, for you have caused My people to err. You have led them astray with lies, by many false theories and by your false visions have you caused them to stumble into darkness. Deceptive dreams and delusions brought forth from your own imaginations, all in all doctrines of demons which blaspheme My name and denigrate the truth of who I am.
But; are you ashamed of all these abominations, which you have propagated before the people? No! You are not ashamed, nor does it cause you to blush!

Therefore you shall be the first to fall among those who fall; in the time of your punishment you shall surely be cast down! Says The Lord. For wrath has indeed entered My heart, and My anger is increased on your account!... Yet My anger is justified and MY judgment righteous! For that which I see is the whole truth, nothing is hidden from My eyes! Indeed, I know the hearts of both those who deceive and those being deceived. I AM THE LORD.

Therefore, thus says The Lord God: Be struck down, all you deceivers! Every one, from the deceiver to those perpetuating these deceptions, shall be struck on the top of their heads! Yet; let not those being deceived perish; rather let them be humbled in the Day of The Lord. For the discipline of The Lord shall teach them, and My stern correction shall open their eyes in the Day of Darkness... For The Holy One of Israel is great in power and mighty to save, bursting all bonds asunder, breaking every chain which holds My people captive! Then they will know, I AM THE LORD, and they shall turn away from all these perverse doctrines and reject all these evil fables. For in that day they shall come to see Me as I truly am, declares The Lord.

But look upon all these who continue to teach and promote these corrupt doctrines and false visions; Look, My name is greatly blasphemed among the nations because of them.
From the overbearing church leader to the sanctimonious priest,
From the high-minded scholar to the braggart preacher,
From the self-righteous pastor to the arrogant Rabbi,
Before Me stands a whole multitude of deceived teachers
Who know neither Me nor My Word.

The veil remains fastened securely atop their heads, and the darkness of their shame covers them, for they lack understanding! They love to condemn their enemies and take much pleasure in passing judgment against their neighbor. For their hearts are full of hate and the spirit of Cain rules over them; a most foolish and ignorant generation, multitudes of prideful people who refuse knowledge and reject correction, they are a people destined for wrath. I DO NOT KNOW THEM! Neither has The Holy Spirit entered in.
Shall I not repay? Wait for the Day: I shall surely reckon with them, for they have robbed Me! Says The Lord.

Is it a light thing to The Lord, that they have gone out polluting My Name as they attempt to cast a shadow over My glory?

Is it a small thing to Me, that My sheep are led into the wilderness by all these self-appointed shepherds, by these false prophets and teachers among the flock, all these so-called dreamers of dreams, leaving them lost and without understanding, with no lamp to guide them?! Shall I leave My children to die in this darkness, trapped by all these deceivers? Shall I leave them as prey for the wolves of the wilderness, afar off, separated from God, destitute of daily Spiritual food? Behold, I shall feed them! Even I, Myself, shall give them food and drink! Says The Lord. And lo, they shall be set free to serve in My name, once again. Oh yes, they shall serve Me in truth and faithfulness’ and keep My Commandments, as they testify to The Salvation of God; by their righteous lives. .
But, those self-appointed shepherds shall fall, and the false prophets and wicked peoples shall become ashes beneath the feet of My witnesses in the Day of The Lord’s fiery vengeance and wrath.

The pastors shall become slaves, every dreamer shall be ridiculed and put to shame, the breath of every sorcerer taken, with every false prophet brought down into silence, their inheritance removed. Every false prophet who continues to speak lies in My name shall surely die. They shall not be lifted up, nor shall they pollute My name or attempt to steal from My glory, anymore.

For fierce is My anger against them, and thus shall I pour out My indignation upon them!

Thus says the Lord God of Hosts:
I am The Lord, and My ways are not human ways,
For My mercy endures forever, and My anger has an end...

Those who highly esteem themselves shall be broken in pieces,
And those who profess themselves to be wise shall be made fools

Indeed, the self-appointed shall fall hard upon their faces, severely shamed,
For by no other means shall they be brought into perfection...

FALSE PROPHETS
{Extracts from 'The Prophetic Call' by Art Katz}

In Jeremiah chapter 23:1-32, God gives us a powerful statement about true and false prophets. Talk about an indictment! It is one thing to have Judgment against nations, but when you begin to indict the prophets of God, when the loftiest and the noblest thing has become the most profane, then that is a profound statement of the low condition of a nation prior to its judgment.

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule on their own authority; and My people love it that way! Jeremiah 5:31a
It is remarkable how self-serving this reciprocal thing is between heads of movements or fellowships and the false teachers, and how comfortable they are with one another and how they affirm one another. The people are in an unspoken agreement with their ministers: "You present a biblical message. We will pay the bill and have a Sunday service that will leave our lives free from any kind of demand that would really affect our true vested interest and lifestyles. We don't want a message that is going to challenge where our heart really is. We want to be able to say, 'Amen' and 'We've been to church'"-and that kind of thing. As the priest, so also the people. As the pastor/preacher, so also the congregation. It is into that situation we have now come to: 2 Peter 2:1-3 In the past there were false prophets, now there are false teachers among you. They will gain many adherents to their destructive theories, bringing the Way of truth into disrepute. In their greed for money and adulation, they will trade on peoples credulity with complete fabrications.

Therefore their way will be like slippery paths to them, they will
be driven away into the gloom and fall in it; for I shall bring calamity
upon them, the year of their punishment, declares the LORD
. Jeremiah 23:12

This confirms that there is not an immediate judgment, but that there is an appointed time in which God judges those that profane His house; those who may have originally had authentic and holy callings. That may well be why the Lord is allowing to continue that which is now being called prophetic and is so popular, but for them, as with the priests and prophets of old, there will be a year of visitation or a time when God will bring them all to judgement.
There is a consequence for false prophecy. For the preacher of it; James 3:1, and for the believer of it, for being taken in by the ‘nice’ outcomes, that are taught, when what the Bible prophets actually wrote, is quite different.
Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you...' Jeremiah 23:15-16a
Jesus said: Do not be deceived…Matthew 24:4

Notice that God still calls them prophets. It may be because the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable. They still retain their official title, but what they are performing under that title is in God's sight an abomination. There is nothing more profane than when the sacred is no longer authentically sacred. When we take the sacred phrase, 'Thus says the Lord' and merely employ it as a device to win the attention of our hearers, then we are desecrating the sacred. We are making the sacred profane and if we are not as a godly people setting forth the distinction between the profane and the sacred, how different are we to the rest of the world? The ramifications of what we are talking about are beyond any full understanding at present.
Jeremiah 23:16b-17They keep saying to those who don’t bother to read the Word for themselves: 'The Lord has said: You will have peace' and as for everyone who follow their stubborn hearts, they say: 'Calamity will not come upon you.'
This must be the very quintessence of what a false prophet is, namely, the giving of a false comfort and a false assurance of peace that does not regard the truth of the difficulties that need to be faced. It is an unwillingness to bring a hard word. The things that are preached are normally flattering and encouraging to the flesh, rather than challenging or threatening. False prophets prophesy peace when the world is in turmoil! 'Calamity will not come upon you' and ‘God will take you to heaven’, is sadly the kind of statement that is coming from today’s pulpits, especially among Christians of the Western world. They are giving false security to their flock.

But who has stood in the council of the LORD...? Jeremiah 23:18
God requires still that His prophetic people be in His presence. I do not see many in the earth today who are in this place. What then shall we say for all the so called; prophets that have arisen in recent years for there are many who profess to be prophets, but are they really hearing the council of God? Not likely, as evidenced by how they all have a different interpretation of the Prophetic Word. God's judgment is severe on those who say: this is God’s word, but it is of their own volition.
We can know when the Word is from the council of God because it has a beneficial effect. It will affect the nation or fellowship in turning it toward God, rather than away from Him and from their wrongful ways and practices.
Watchmen; Jeremiah 31:6, are called to come into that whole scenario and bring the Sword of the Lord, and the fear of the Lord, and the truth of Scripture to people who have been long spoiled by pastors and writers of things like Prosperity theology and the rapture to heaven doctrine, that every one of us has been exposed to by preaching, books and the media, often ignoring scriptural truths. This is why we have so much controversy over what God actually does intend for His people and why God will soon take action to change everything.

THEN My people will see and hear clearly….they will finally understand and know the truth. Isaiah 32:3-4 & 35:5, Jeremiah 23:20

There are false teachers. We are told there would be: 2 Timothy 4:3-4
The false teacher speaks words of comfort when God would not have His people to be comforted, but to be stirred up. True prophets and watchmen who promote the Prophetic Word have to bear the reprisal, the rejection and the mortification of that word coming back into their own teeth. Prophetic anguish is to present the word of God and then to have it refused, but other doctrines believed. It is mortifying and the opposite of the joy and the gratification that comes when the word of God flows out of you and into the people who are receiving it. That is like tonic for your soul. We have to be as willing for the one as the other, or we will not speak the Words of truth, but we must warn people, whether they accept it or not. Ezekiel 3:1-6

What of an unrepentant religion that rejected the Kingdom and will of God and re-joined the world of man as a partner in pursuing the will of man, controlling the new narrative?
The way I see it is: all have sinned and gone astray.......
It will only be by the Grace of God, that anyone gets saved for Eternity.

But, for those who preach and teach false theories and wrong doctrines, there will be punishment.

Those who expound Bible Prophecy, are part of the current generation which is mainly corrupt and ungodly. [as in the days of Noah]

They try to convince us that the cumulative research over the last century now yields a better understanding of the things of God. Conversely, our ancient Scriptures themselves do not say there will be an increase in understanding and discernment during the end times. The Bible prophets say that many will be deceived and will follow false teachings and only a few will understand. Daniel 12:10

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. 1 Cor 3:18-20
Matthew 11:25 I thank You, Father for hiding the truth from the wise and revealing it to the simple.

At the time of Jesus, the people the Lord selected to preserve His Word for the rest of human kind failed to understand God’s plan and were deceived to the degree that they arrange to brutally execute the Son of God who loved them.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 53:3

Instead of telling us that mankind will progressively draw near to God because of our ability to assimilate and wisely apply knowledge to our circumstances, the Word of God tells us the Christians will repeat the ancient sin of Israel, and embrace lies.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-10 For this cause, God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie….because they received not the love of the truth.
Theological error isn’t random. In this regard, the Greek word in our New Testament, rendered delusion, and it is the Lord Himself who delivers that delusion to those He deems appropriate.

This means it is a deluding error, which the Lord Himself sends, to those who want - no: who demand God to remove them, before any holy discipline; Hebrews 12:4-13 and they reject the Spirit of humbleness which would draw them to the truth.

This fulfils an Old Testament prophecy, which is in the context of the end times:
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. Isaiah 66:4

The reason the Lord places a delusion upon people, is because they practice insincere worship and maintain wrong doctrines, Jeremiah 4:22, Isaiah 58:1-7 and have confused themselves by believing fiction and false teachings. Isaiah 29:9-12, 2 Timothy 4:3-4

That's rather too general a condemnation. Yes, I am sure there are plenty of people who claim to expound biblical prophecy who are corrupt, but thankfully there are some genuine biblical expositors, expounding the bible (including its prophecies) today.

But it is confirmed by the general lack of consensus among Christian scholars. The 'sheepish' congregations, just blindly follow the teachings of their 'wolfish' pastors.
A dramatic shaking is soon to happen. Hebrews 12:26-27

Maybe, maybe not.
I see a great "consensus" building each year in the towers of babbling (scholardships etc);......

As ai is being used to consolidate and eventually enforce false teachings, to support the world order, to root out and silence the truth everywhere possible that Jesus permits it to be silenced, until the last martyr is killed. Then Jesus quickly returns.

The "general lack of consensus" is, I suggest, mainly due to a far too wide definition of "Christian" in the phrase "Christian scholars." I think there is a general consensus amongst scholars who really know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, though of course there are things they may disagree on, but that is true of all Christians. I still think it is to great a generalisation to claim that all who claim to expound biblical prophecy who are corrupt.

You are absolutely correct. I’ve been reading writers who “expound biblical prophecy” for years. Maybe some of you remember “88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1988.” The author was either corrupt or confused. Most writers on biblical prophecy are sincere and mean well, and they usually fill the pages with caveats of “maybe I’m wrong.” Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is one of the most famous today. Notice he stresses our relationship with God rather than panic and doom. His main purpose is to return people to Christ. I think he sometimes sees connections that aren’t there, but it doesn’t matter. The interesting topic forms a foundation for improving faith.

Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before My eyes, and chose what displeased Me. Ezekiel 20:25
The prevalent error is in thinking that the Israel visible today is still the chosen of God. Wrong; they un-chose themselves, Matthew 27:25 and now it is every born again Christian, who belongs to the new nation of God's people. Matthew 21:43

With the rapture cult, the initial error is that of separating Israel and the Church, so they could still look for salvation to come to ethnic Israel, as a major tenet of their doctrine: Israel on earth, the Church in heaven. The pre-Trib rapture teaches removal to ensure survival from tribulation, but salvation has always been stated to redeem us from our fallen sinful state, in our earthly situation.

Acts 20:21 I know that when I am gone, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 2 Peter 2:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:3-4

The rapture idea is that God will “save us” from that which must occur – thus equating this supposed removal with salvation. After so many Christians saw the inadequacy and misappropriation of the verses used to promote Pre-Trib, the Post-Trib alternative was then built around surviving the tribulation – thus sustaining the illusion that survival is somehow related to salvation.

A strong delusion is mentioned in the New Testament: 2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this reason God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

This delusion has people looking forward to the 2nd Coming (in the so called rapture to heaven, Pre, Mid, or Post) believing in a rapture removal from the earth. The reality is, we experience His glorious salvation when we enter in to the blessed assurance that Christ’s Death means the penalty for our sin has been paid because of His sacrifice on the Cross. Ever since then, believers must trust in Jesus for their salvation and for their protection during the testing times to come. Isaiah 43:2, Psalms 31:23-24

And if the Lord does not save them, just as has happened to the millions of martyrs in the last 20 centuries, then we must die trusting in His promise of resurrection. Revelation 12:11, Revelation 13:10 Our souls will be kept under the heavenly Altar, Revelation 6:9-11, and Jesus will bring them with Him at His Return, then bring us to life again, to reign with Him for 1000 years. Revelation 20:4

Jesus said: take care that you be not deceived..... Seems that many have been rather careless!

This confirms that there is not an immediate judgment, but that there is an appointed time in which God judges those that profane His house; those who may have originally had authentic and holy callings.
There comes a time when God reads what is written in the Books. Some people object to the term "punishment," suggesting instead that individuals experience the consequences of their actions for their own benefit. The Hebrew text indicates these individuals are the least, while Jesus teaches that the least shall become the greatest, and those who exalt themselves will be humbled, while the humble will be exalted.

The Bible suggests that judgment does not come until the fullness of sin, giving us every chance to judge ourselves. The concept of judgment and punishment is complex, with scripture offering various perspectives. While a few verses discuss Hell, many more speak of destruction, often total destruction. The existence of evil is often attributed to free will, without which life would be little more than a simulation.

Jesus warns that people will be judged for lawlessness. Some claim that because Jesus paid the price for our sins, we can break God's law. However, Jesus says, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness" (Matthew 7:23). Paul also reminds us, "We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" (Romans 6:1-2).

Being good is not enough; we must be righteous before God, which comes through faith. Following God's law benefits us, much like how dietary restrictions benefit our health. Just as the consequences of poor eating habits can lead to disease, the wages of sin is death.

Well, that is about as confused and mixed up as anything I've seen so far.

There will come a time when the Books are opened. AFTER the Millennium. Rev 20:11-15
Until then, we must live righteously and maintain our faith and trust in the Lord.

Well, that is about as confused and mixed up as anything I've seen so far.
Sorry AI does not agree with you, swing and a miss. NIce try though. If someone has a message I can not make any sense out of, I run it through AI and that explains it to me.

My message is just paraphrased scriptures. Next time I will try to quote the scriptures more so people do not get so confused with what I am saying.

There will come a time when the Books are opened. AFTER the Millennium. Rev 20:11-15
Until then, we must live righteously and maintain our faith and trust in the Lord.
Yes, of course. I am glad you have a firm grasp on the obvious.
