If there's no governing body to say what reasonable safety precautions are, then it's just one opinion against another.I'm sure the family of the victim could find a lawyer to make the case

OSHA doesn't tell me what to put on my porch but if someone gets hurt on it they can still sue meIf there's no governing body to say what reasonable safety precautions are, then it's just one opinion against another.
It would be a voter ID .The only thing close to a federal id would be a passport. Most people don't have one, afaik.
Elections are run by the states and counties. The states determine the rules.
It would be an “ID” (whether one can vote depends on if one is registered to vote). It would be a voter ID .
Do you like forecasts done after the weather happens? In sharpie? Because that's what the voters seemed to want.My vote is for NOAA - I like my tornadoes and hurricanes to be a surprise!
Sums up the support for this plan in a nutshell - not knowing what the government agencies do but being excited to cut them even when making use of the benefits they provide. My understanding is that most of the data that is used by commercial weather forecasting services comes from NOAA.
Anything relating to the dangers of sharks and electric boats? That seemed to be one of the big campaign issues for the incoming administration. What did they do? Debunk the Jewish space lasers? Make fun of the Democratic hurricane generator? I heard a story on NPR that convinced me that the Hatian refugees weren't actually eating household pets. Definitely Democratic propaganda.
That's not the way I remember it. As I recall, the hurricane had not yet landed and evacuations were being discussed. Donald, for some reason, said in public that the hurricane was going to hit eastern Alabama, but the national meteorologists publicly contradicted him. He tried to shut them down with his map of the predicted path with Alabama included via sharpie - on national TV.Do you like forecasts done after the weather happens? In sharpie? Because that's what the voters seemed to want.
They publicly contradicted Donald and refused to change their forecast during this hurricane. No one gainsays Donald to his face! What did they do? Debunk the Jewish space lasers? Make fun of the Democratic hurricane generator? I heard a story on NPR that convinced me that the Hatian refugees weren't actually eating household pets. Definitely Democratic propaganda.
I don't get your point here: note the "or". This does not say that a corporation is an agency, but seems to distinguish between them. Equally confusing is that this is applies specifically toTITLE 28 > PART VI > CHAPTER 176 > SUBCHAPTER A > § 3002
§ 3002. Definitions
(15) “United States” means—
(A) a Federal corporation;
(B) an agency, department, commission, board, or other entity of the United States; or
(C) an instrumentality of the United States.
I was saying, and am still saying, that a corporation is not an agency and, specifically, that neither PBS nor NPR are agencies. You were saying?
If it is for federal elections, it could/should be issued according to federal laws. We seen what happened with one state attempting to take a federal candidate off the ballot already...in Colorado. It would be an “ID” (whether one can vote depends on if one is registered to vote).
It could be a voter ID in states with “same-day” registration/voting.
Yesterday's weather today!Do you like forecasts done after the weather happens? In sharpie? Because that's what the voters seemed to want.
Voter ID is not a real issue. It's something the DNC loves to hammer, but it's a fake issue. People need IDs to get most government welfare and social services...poor people have them. Black people, in particular, are not unable to get IDs.Even if the voter doesn't provide an ID, the voter still claims an identity of a registered voter. If more than one voter claims that identity, or if there is evidence that the registered voter didn't actually vote, then the vote can be investigated.
In my state, the ballot is mailed out, and voters fill out those ballots and return them. We write our signatures on the envelope, which can be matched against the signatures on the registrations.
Kind of like the voters who hate Obamacare but like ACA.Sums up the support for this plan in a nutshell - not knowing what the government agencies do but being excited to cut them even when making use of the benefits they provide.
Should lead to a lot of buyer's remorse in time for mid-terms.
According to Wikipedia, you're misinformed.I was saying, and am still saying, that a corporation is not an agency and, specifically, that neither PBS nor NPR are agencies.
You can say that all you like but you have not shown that to be true in this case.According to Wikipedia, you're misinformed.
Okay.Bottom line, I'll be thankful when I'm no longer forced to pay for that propaganda.
No you haven't.You can say that all you like but you have not shown that to be true in this case.
Well, yes. That state had specific disqualifications for candidates to appear on the ballot, one of which, no felons, applied to the Maga candidate. The Supreme Court wrongly interfered state election law, but this court is extremely activist. If it is for federal elections, it could/should be issued according to federal laws. We seen what happened with one state attempting to take a federal candidate off the ballot already...in Colorado.
