I think we both have a good idea considering the behavior of the left towards people wearing MAGA hats prior to the 2016 election.

The fact that the op article refuses to say who hit whom first says it all. Had the woman wearing the hat started the fight, the article would have been titled, "Female MAGA supporter attacks woman on British Airways flight."

The Independent ran the story as well. I don't believe that London-based newspaper has a dog in the fight but there is claim about who landed the first handbag.

I think maybe there are no credible witnesses prepared to speak to the press. Or, as there is a possible court case pending, reporting restrictions are in place. English courts are very strict about these things. Either way, it seems very undignified - and a bit of excitement for the other passengers.
