  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Podcasting giant Joe Rogan lands interview with Trump ahead of election

Former President Trump will record an interview Friday with podcasting giant Joe Rogan, a campaign official tells Fox News Digital.

"The Joe Rogan Experience" boasts the largest podcast audience in the United States and gives Trump another chance to court younger, male voters, which makes up the majority of Rogan's audience. Rogan's show has 17.5 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 14 million followers on Spotify.

According to Politico, which first reported the story, Trump will tape the interview at Rogan's studio in Austin, Texas.

Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have made numerous stops at influential podcasts during the campaign season. Harris recently appeared on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, which has the largest female American audience, to discuss women's issues. Trump has been a guest on such shows as Barstool Sports' "Bussin with the Boys," "Full Send," and Patrick Bet-David's podcast.

Rogan's show has reportedly been in talks about an interview with Harris, although no interview has been set with two weeks to go before Election Day.

It will be interesting to see if VP Harris agrees to an interview on Rogan's podcast. For her, there is more down than up if she does it. If she uses her current tactic of talking about how bad or unserious Trump is, she will sound like everyone's ex-wife, which will turn the audience off. If she goes back to her previous "Turn the page" and "Joy" approach, she better have better answers for her actions the last few years and her flip-flops on policy. Finally, the libertarian audience of Rogan will see through her smoke to someone who was all for vaccine mandates, against school choice, added trillions to the debt, and proposed an army of new IRS agents. So I really don't know how Kamala Harris can appeal to a member of the libertarian party.

You know, I would be shocked if Harris would do it ... but I sure wish that she would!

I see Rogan as a straightshooter ... not unkind, but I think he'd be very straight with her about alot of things. I really don't believe she could handle his sort of directness. So we'd probably get alot of wordsalad from her, and I don't think Rogan would let that fly, like most of the media does.

I think it'd be a very risky move for Harris, if she did it. But I think it would be very good for undecided voters, to see how she handles things when unscripted and on the 'hotseat'.

I'm glad Rogan has reached out to both candidates. When he talks with Trump, I think he'll be very direct with him, too ... but, unlike Harris, Trump can handle directness. That oughta be a very entertaining interview!

Donald Trump's Joe Rogan Interview: How to Watch and Listen

Former President Donald Trump is set to appear on one of the biggest national podcasts today: The Joe Rogan Experience.

The Joe Rogan Experience
is available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Rogan has one of the world's most-listened to podcasts, with over 14 million followers on Spotify.

The average length of a Joe Rogan podcast episode is typically around three hours. However, the duration can vary, with some episodes being as short as two hours and others extending to four hours or more.

It is unclear when Trump's podcast episode will go live. However, Rogan's team reportedly does minimal editing and publishes podcast episodes quickly, sometimes even the same day after recording, according to Lulu Cheng Meservey, Vice President of Communications at Substack, who documented her subscribers through a day with Rogan in 2022.

Harris campaign confirms vice president will not be doing Joe Rogan’s podcast

Harris campaign spokesperson Ian Sams said in an MSNBC interview that the vice president will not be on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

“We talked with Rogan and his team about the podcast, unfortunately, it isn’t going to work out right now because of the scheduling of this period of the campaign,” Sams told MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.

Seems strange since one of the groups that she is doing poorly with is young men. Men make up 81% of Rogan's audience with most of them under 35. It would have been a good opportunity for her to try to persuade a group that is typically undecided at this point. It is obvious to me that Trump's campaign is laser-focused on the undecided and independent voter blocs right now. That is why JD Vance was on Cuomo doing a town hall last night and Trump is going on Rogan.

Imo, it could have been a good thing for her to do, if she was capable of doing a good spontaneous interview. But I haven't seen evidence yet that she's able to do that, so it was probably very wise on someone's part that she didn't do this one with Rogan.

Joe provided an update today.

Seems he and the Harris team are still talking about an interview ... (and JD Vance will be on Rogan's show tomorrow!)

Joe Rogan says he discussed doing interview with Kamala Harris

(10/29/24)

American mega-podcaster Joe Rogan said he had discussions with Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for the presidential candidate to appear on his show, but he declined to travel to her for the episode.

Rogan, who hosts the popular show, “The Joe Rogan Experience", announced the Democratic presidential nominee’s team agreed to an interview with him, but in the end he was the one who said no.

The podcast host's announcement comes just one week away from the 2024 presidential election and days after Rogan released a three-hour show with former President Donald Trump.

"For the record the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast," Rogan wrote in a social media post. "They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin."

However, Rogan said he hopes to speak with Harris in the future.

"My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being," Rogan wrote. "I really hope we can make it happen."

According to Spotify, Rogan's show is its top podcast with 14.5 million followers.

USA TODAY has reached out to the Harris campaign for comment.

On Tuesday, multiple outlets reported that Trump's running mate JD Vance is set to appear on Rogan's show on Wednesday.

YouTube Quietly Removes Trump Interview with Joe Rogan from Search Results

Former President Donald Trump‘s explosive interview with podcast host Joe Rogan, which has become the most-viewed episode ever, has been removed from YouTube’s search results.

It’s just another glitch, right?

When typing in search terms such as Joe Rogan Donald Trump,” “Joe Rogan Donald Trump interview,” “Joe Rogan Trump,” or “Rogan Trump full interview,” YouTube only directs users to short clips of the interview, but the full interview is nowhere to be seen.

The Federalist CEO and co-founder Sean Davis responded to the findings on X, writing:

“There’s no way to search for the full interview that will actually return the full interview.”

“You have to go to Rogan’s page and the list of videos in order to find it.”

“It’s the most watched podcast in history, and it’s impossible to find in Google’s YouTube search.”

Not too long after Google bought Youtube for $1.65 billion in 2006, it became Theirtube.

I just checked. It’s easy to find. The first result is 3 hours long. I assume that’s the whole thing.
