After two attendees faint, Trump town hall segues into 39 minutes of music from Trump's curated playlist 'Let’s just listen to music.'

Rally attenders tend to be older people. They wait for hours in hot--or cold--weather, risking dehydration.
Sometimes the buses don't come to take them to distant parking lots.
Apparently health problems are not uncommon at Trump rallies.
Since you offer no facts, I’ll just have to say it seems you have a vivid imagination

I’ve been to four Trump rallies. They were all a wide swath of ages, genders and races.

CNN made that comment while talking to a reporter who had been at the rally. The reporter said medical problems are not unusual at the rallies.

But TBT, if there was a crowd of 8,000 that would still be at least 2,000 who were senior citizens, and perhaps even more with health concerns.

Health problems at big events are not unexpected and first aid people at venues should bE MORE THAN CAPABLE of managing someone passing out from heat.

Part of me thought "yeah. His supporters were say he was being generous and compassionate". Of course then they had loud music pounding. I've passed out before (though it was from pain), loud sounds was actually pretty low on my list of things I was happy to be experiencing when I woke up.

It's pretty silly to transition from "This is the most important election of all time. Let's all listen to some tunes".

The town hall, moderated by South Dakota Gov. Kristi L. Noem (R), began with questions from preselected attendees for the former president. But it took a sudden turn after two attendees required medical attention.

“Let’s not do any more questions. Let’s just listen to music. Let’s make it into a music. Who the ██ wants to hear questions, right?” he said.

For 39 minutes, Trump swayed, bopped — sometimes stopping to speak — as he turned the event into almost a living-room listening session of his favorite songs from his self-curated rally playlist.

He played nine tracks. He danced. He shook hands with people onstage. He pointed to the crowd. Noem stood beside him, nodding with her hands clasped. Trump stayed in place onstage, slowly moving back and forth. He was done answering questions for the night.

“This is the most important election in the history of our country,” Trump said, once again accusing Democrats of weaponizing elections. But then he went back to his music.

“Those two people that went down are patriots, and we love them, and because of them we ended up with some good music, right?” he asked. “So play ‘YMCA!’ Go ahead. Let’s go nice and loud!”
Where is Dick Clark when you need him?

May he R.I.P

What about Harris rallies? How great are they? That billion dollars her followers happily donated must afford them some pretty sweet amenities.

All of the personal attacks in this thread make me think the OP has found behavior which makes supporters of the candidate in question rather uncomfortable.
The question then becomes - are those voters willing to change their mind in light of this new evidence?

But will not help you in the polls...
I’ll be honest, I’m not angry. I’m concerned. This has brought up a lot of ethics questions for me that are super uncomfortable to ponder.

Like, I don’t like the guy, but I think KH has a better chance of beating him than Vance at the polls. On the flip side, though, we are watching a human being fall apart in real time. If my parents acted like this, solemn discussions around the dinner table would be occurring between me and my siblings. Why isn’t his family? Is he being wound up to do this? Is it his ego? Is it family? Why hasn’t anybody in his campaign talked to him? Or each other? I’m worried we are watching elder abuse play out on a national stage.

So I’m struggling for what to root for… Him to stay in and KH win? Him to drop out and be replaced by Vance, who is a better and more sound candidate with all the Trump behaviors and viewpoints?

I won’t even get into the abject fear that people look at somebody who’s clearly unwell and elect him anyway… How long do we have somebody that state of compromise in charge of the country until we replace him, again, with Vance?

I saw some of the clips. Ave Maria? Really? Dancing to Ave Maria and YMCA?
I thought it sacrilegious to stick it in his jukebox playlist.
That is part of the weirdness of the incident. I don't think it was sacrilegious to dance. I wonder if Trump knows the connection people make to 'YMCA'.

(Then there is the old issue - royalties.)

That’s what I was thinking. YMCA? A gay anthem? Like… Huh? And how many more artists need to come out and tell him to stop using their music before he learns?

Here is an appropriate song for Trump!

We shouldn't listen to good music because it's considered a gay anthem?
That strikes me as being at odds with everything the left holds dear

While I don't think the music thing is anything more than kooky, it is absolutely true that the Right would be wigging out if Biden or Harris did this.

Probably but I'm the person who never minds these occurrences though. It's elites on both sides of the aisle who have issues.

If Harris did something like this in an organic fashion like hey, this medical emergency occured and we have to pause while the emergency medical personnel do their thing - let's dance - I'd give her props. It would beat her sounding and looking like a complete airhead - or snob.

Trump always stops speaking when there's an emergency medical event and he's always done something random to fill the time because he does always stop the speech at that point until the person in a medical situation is cared for.. dancing and playing music is just Trump being himself during some downtime.

Kamala flubbers and doesn't know what to do when she has time to fill (how many times did she say 32 days when her teleprompter went down?) I'd rather see a dancing Trump during a medical event.

I might even do a little jig with him... Lol. (In my living room of course...)
