Through the power of the Lord God, we can take back all that Satan has taken away from us. We can take back our joy, we can take back the victory over our sins in our lives. Through God's grace and power, we can have victory over our own sinful nature, victory over our weaknesses and we can live as the Savior desires His people to live for Him. Hallelujah and all praise to the Savior.That's quite a performance!

Whew, another song about spiritual warfare.
Looks like we are having a spiritual warfare theme going on, and I like this song. Thank you for introducing me to 2020s Skillet, or at least 1/4th of Skillet with John Cooper. I am more of an old-soul here (1980s-2000s Christian music), but this goes to show that Christian music from 2024 can be good.
Our Lord has indeed given us the whole armor of God which we need to have victory over our sins and also living a victorious life against the demons and gods of this world. In Jesus name, we must take back what sin and Satan has stolen away from us.Whew, another song about spiritual warfare.
The lyrics relate again to Ephesians 6:11-13. This verse is probably my favorite from Ephesians at this point. St. Paul had some wise words here, breathed into him by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 6:11-13 (NIV): "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."
God has helped me overcome some of my sins, or reduce them greatly.
Amen, brother. God has protected us from harm, including physical harm. Back in 2009, my mom & I were going on a day trip to Pipestone, Minnesota. During the trip on the two lane road, a car on the opposite lane was heading straight for us. If we swerved too much, we would have ended up in the ditch. If we braked hard, a semi would have crashed into the back of us. At the last moment, we slowed down and swerved, and missed the oncoming car without ending up in the ditch or getting hit by the semi truck. Mom and I believe this was God protecting us.
