Like his predecessor Benedict XVI, Pope Francis is subjected to relentless scrutiny and critical analysis. Every word and action of his is examined with a fault-finding intent. He appears to be a man perpetually in the wrong, always criticized for something. Thus, we ask, what fault can be found in his words and actions today?

On the other hand, he is right about things sometimes more often than a stopped clock. So there is that. He said something good recently about avoiding pornography. He has said some other good things. Thus not perpetually in the wrong.

Isn't a pope supposed to be someone who withstands scrutiny and critical analysis? Shouldn't it just be those who are opposed to Christ and Christianity who find fault in him?

The problem is that the Pope made himself the source of division in the universal Church, by denouncing all Christian movements and territories not under his rule. Today, Francis calls Israel's efforts to defend themselves against bombings "beyond morality."

Should we get our politics from one who divides the Church? No. I'll listen to him when he builds his truth on the true foundation of the Church, that of the apostles and prophets who gave us the Scriptures (not the Catholic version).

The Pope seems to like Biden more than Trump--why is that? Biden is pro-abortion in his policies, and Trump is not. Trump has the support of many consevative Christians in America. But the Pope likes Biden--why is that?

He's entitled to his opinion, but he is not entitled to misrepresent the Universal Church!

I'm not sure he said that but if he did, he is right. No one can make a good case for killing thousands of innocents just to kill a few guilty people.

Objectively speaking the pope probably has no idea that you exist. He isn't asking you to be his follower. Try following Jesus.
