CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

One more thing guys, the foil that you guys see on the Merlin engine on the right side of the screen is multi-layer insulation (MLI). Think of it as a high-end thermal blanket or thermos to keep the systems cool enough from the intense heat radiated from the nozzle. Pretty neat stuff, eh? Just learned about this metallic foil a few seconds ago.

Nice, the Dragon capsule is attached to the station. So, why do the stuck astronauts have to stay on the station, instead of immediately return back to Earth in the Dragon, as the Dragon arrive today?

Two astronauts went up on the Dragon for their mission. That mission will not end until February and that is when all four will return to Earth.
It must be quite embarrassing that a business competitor literally has to come to the rescue after the disappointment of the Starliner.

You know something? Boeing deserves this failure. Boeing already made crappy planes since the 737 Max incident in 2019-2020. So, if Boeing lost a customer for going to space, the company deserves it. Sorry for the little rant, but I am not a big fan of modern Boeing since the Alaskan airlines incident with the bolts failing in early 2024. When profits > safety, one must think twice before purchasing or using a Boeing.
It is good that the mission is safe, and will go well. Also, it would be cool if the mission report was published, to see what type of research the astronauts would do between now and February 2025.
