A federal judge has ruled that it would be unconstitutional for an Indiana prison to deny a transgender inmate sex reassignment surgery following the inmate's lawsuit against the facility.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) sued the Indiana Department of Corrections last year on behalf of a transgender inmate, Jonathan C. Richardson, also known as Autumn Cordellionè, who was convicted of strangling his 11-month-old stepdaughter to death in 2001.

Indiana law, however, prohibits the Department of Corrections from using taxpayer dollars to fund sex reassignment surgeries for inmates. However, the ACLU argues in the lawsuit, filed on Aug. 28, 2023, that the law is a violation of the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition of "cruel and unusual punishment."

This is going to happen because the progressive Left decided to enshrine subjective identity into law like race and sex. Except race and sex are objective realities and therefore people who are descriminated against based on an objective reality they posess as a human being is unjust. The same with age. You can't magically change your age, sex or race.

So now we have this rediculous situation where subjective identity which could be the result of seveal reasons such as mental disorder, emotional immaturity, Autism, psychological abuse and trauma or sexual fetish are now deemed a reality without question.

Anyone can identify as the opposite sex or a furry or any other subjective identity they believe is real or perhaps don't believe but want to exploit the idea can be protected under law. Thats not out of the question because in an age where all sorts of weird and wonderful realities are being created and pushed people will delude themselves and experiment will all sorts of identities.

The strange thing is they are even protected by law over what we use to protect by law as objective reality. So a biological males rights to identify as a female and then enter female space is more protected than the females in that space who feel threatened as biological females. Who disagree that subjective identity is the measure of reality.

Its more or less turning back the long fought for Rights like Womens Rights we have established for centuries if not millenia.

Thats the 'can of worms' we have opened. That even science is toying with. Thats how topsy turvey our world has become. But the more we expose the unreality the more it will go back in its box. Which is sort of happening now but I think the ideology and thinking is so ingrained its going to take some time and may even get worse before that happens.

Sorry wrong wording. The one who commits crimes against children is not treated well. One way to avoid mistreatment is to go to a female prison and transgender may be the avenue for that.

Most of these convicts seeking transition surgery are not child molesters.

FYI, most child molesters who are convicted, end up in a minimum-security prison and are kept separated from
the regular population. No need to mutilate your body to be protected.
