Well, my old man would have hit the roof if he knew I enjoyed the odd beer or 2 (hey, I'm Welsh for heaven's sake). He was a teetotal (I must have skipped his genes and gone straight to my maternal grandfather's).

From what I've seen, she's quite close to her mother. Maybe not so much her father. Maybe it's a difference in their politics. Perhaps she avoids Marxists.
