  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm going to try to go to Mass but I don't think I'm in drivable condition.
I prayed for you, that you can be able to drive to Mass. Remember, you can do this. It will probably rain tomorrow, but I will still try to walk to mass (6 minute walk), unless there is lightning. So, if I can make it to Mass in the rain, you can drive to Mass.

Rain doesn't intimidate me unless it's dark already, then I avoid it. The thing is, I don't know if my dad will pull some schtick tonight and ruin my sleep for tomorrow's 11 am Mass that I preferred to go to, that's why I'm trying to "get it over with." I don't like to use that term because it implies a burden; no way, Mass is not a burden, but my fatigue is.

p.s. it's not that simple that I can drive to Mass if you can walk in the rain. Walking in the rain won't get you in an accident.

Well, if you have fatigue, God is understanding. So, I pray that your fatigue disappears so you can drive to mass safely.

I did go today. I'm very grateful but I do wish I could go tomorrow. However, the jury is way out on that. If I can't, I know that I already went, but I do like the 11 am Masses more.

Hey, at least you went to Mass today. That means you got your Mass in for the week. :) Next week, you can try for Sunday, but if Saturday works better, try the Saturday masses from now on.
