  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In reality, abortion pills are what led to the deaths of these women and their children in Georgia.

I would not consider taking interviews to spread lies about Haitian refugees, hiding in their home, fearful of assault from Trump's supporters, a positive things.
Unless an interview is truthful, it's a negative.
Misoprostol is not exactly a "back alley abortion." If a woman can get it without traveling out of state and being unable to go to medical follow-ups, it should be safe for her to take.
But where she has to take a bus 100 miles and worry that if a rare complication arises when she gets home hospitals will let her bleed out in the parking lot, it's no better than a back alley
abortion.
One of the women who died was sent home by two hospitals because state legislatures are telling doctors to refuse care or go to jail.
The truth: if she took the pill--almost always in the first six weeks and is bleeding uncontrollably--the unborn child has already been miscarried.
Women don't bleed out in hospitals bathrooms and remain pregnant.
But there is a living patient dying before their eyes and doctors do nothing.
And pro-life (?) legislators' ignorance of what happens to an embryo during a hemorrhage are at fault.
It's too late for the embryo, so save the recently-pregnant woman.

Anyone wanting to kill their unborn child is at fault. You can’t spin that away. Love of the unborn is our mission.

Lots of people who get injured are "at fault."
Drug addicts.
Drunk drivers.
Reckless adventure seekers.
Those who attempt suicide.

They are all treated in hospitals. No one says "let them die. They are at fault."

When love of the unborn is someone's mission and he or she refuses to treat a dying woman in the hospital because she had an early term chemical abortion, the person with thise beliefs needs to do a lot of soul searching, prayer, and repentance.

Whatever the past acts of a dying person in an ER, refusing to treat is criminal negligence.

Nobody refused to treat a dying woman.

Nobody refused to treat a dying woman.
Then why did she die. They withheld necessary treatment for too long while debating if they would be penalized per the anti abortion laws in place after Roe v Wade was reversed.

Tell that to the survivors, including orphaned children, who saw her turned away from two hospitals.
It's often more comfortable to reject the truth than realize the harm these policies have caused.

Last month visiting my oldest daughter I found out she had had two abortions (financial reasons) and I was kinda shocked being a Grandparent. I told her it's not my place to judge her and I wouldn't be angry, I was disappointed, but I did tell her if an accident happened again I would pay for it all but protect yourself. This is what I'm willing to do because of my pro-life stance.

Lately, in NM I've been seeing political ads against Harold about women's reproductive rights, and I asked myself what this means. To me, pregnancies happen because kids are performing the acts of reproduction and they are not protecting themselves from pregnancy you know "unprotected sex" It's not just for sexually transmitted diseases.

A male or female could perform the act of reproduction with as many people as they want but in the end, the chances of creating a human being go up. My daughter told me that it's a fetus and I said that word is used to dehumanize the human that is created because that fetus becomes a human 100% of the time. I told her next time she allows someone to stick his thing in your body make sure you protect herself from the added expense of an abortion.

Let me rephrase. She wasn’t denied care because of the law.

She obviously didn’t care about her children since she murdered two of them.

She would not have been denied if thaw was not in place.
Once again, she was not denied because of the law. And had she not murdered her children, it wouldn’t have mattered.

She was denied because a law was put in place with verbiage that left room for doubt about whether or not doctors could legally treat her condition until it was too late. She didn’t murder anyone. Murder is a legal term and she did nothing illegal.

Because you could invest love into people who actually need it.

A fetus doesn't need your love or thought. It CERTAINLY doesn't need it as much as a 8 year old.

Two babies were alive. She took drugs to kills them.

And from the article:

Here’s what the law says, directly from the Georgia Department of Health:

The law provides that no abortion shall be performed if the unborn child has a detectable human heartbeat except (a) in the event of a medical emergency or medically futile pregnancy … or (b) in cases involving rape or incest in which an official police report has been filed and where the probable gestational age of the unborn child is 20 weeks or less. The law does not prohibit the removal of a dead unborn child caused by a spontaneous abortion or the removal of an ectopic pregnancy.

Stop posting brutal and sinful things like advocating for the murder of the unborn.
