  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Court rules nearly 98,000 Arizonans whose citizenship hadn't been confirmed can vote the full ballot

It's hard to tell how many non-citizens may have been allowed to vote in past presidential elections, perhaps not enough to have made a difference. But this demonstrates that there are problems that need to be fixed.

In state and local elections.
In other words, even if they "may" be citizens whose papers have not been verified, they cannot vote in the presidential election.

these are not non-citizens. They are people who registered before the State required verification. There's no reason to think they are non-citizens. They've taken an oath that they are. The State was supposed to verify people who had registered before the requirement, but a paperwork error caused them not to be checked. The law specifies processes for dealing with unverified voters, which requires giving them notice so they can supply verification. There isn't time to do that before the election. The State Supreme Court said that the law doesn't allow them to be dropped without following the process.

The US Supreme Court had already made the same decision for Federal elections, so without this decision these people would have voted only in Federal contests.

The court’s decision comes after officials uncovered a database error that for two decades mistakenly designated the voters as having access to the full ballot. The voters already were entitled to cast ballots in federal races, including for president and Congress, regardless of how the court ruled.

Election officials will be contacting voters who need to update their proof of citizenship after the election, he said.

Yes, it will be too late by then. Trump, though, has warned illegals who vote in the presidential election that they will be prosecuted.

The woke approach to crime doesn't work--Kamala has shown that. The Biden/Harris administration has lost track of approximately 325,000 minors. No one knows the total number of those who are human trafficked. The older trafficked children and adults could be coerced into voting by their cartel masters--a signature is not going to stop them.
