given that covid didn't fully hit untill 2021 it's not a surprise, but remind me who attacked wearing masks, remind me who downplayed the virus and acted like it wasn't going to be a big deal. I didn't support Trump in the primary. I thought he had no chance of winning the general election. He won the nomination because people feel that he was unfairly prosecuted. The more charges the higher his poll numbers went.
He has made many mistakes that would end the candidacy of most politicians but it doesn't hurt him.
His supporters still support him.
I didn't think he would be competitive in the general election but it's virtually a tie.
No matter his faults the country will be better off with him than with Harris.
