CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh, my. Vance is right up there with Trump as the 'Worst Human EVER'. Kamala just proved it.
Kamala can get traction with this only because of the huge number of low information voters who would never doubt her in the least. Who will never listen to what Vance ACTUALLY said.
Low Information Voters For Kamala emoting for Harris/Walz. Thinking is just too painful for them.

The "full context" video doesn't really show the full context, either. There's an edit a couple seconds before the "fact of life" comment that, were it not there, would shed more light on exactly what he was referring to.

Mr Vance should maybe learn to word things a little better. We’re used to hearing nonsense come out of Trump. At least one of the two could be more grounded and measured in their words to avoid setting up easy, low hanging fruit like this for their opponents.

It was clear what his point was. Even if there was some confusion at first as to what his point was, Harris tried to spin it and it backfired. Either that, or she’s not as smart as the left keeps telling us she is.
