1 John 1
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Ephesians 2:8-10: "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them".
We can't buy what Christ already purchased.
We were
bought with a price [
we were actually
purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. The GOOD Shepherd doesn't let the wolf steal His sheep!
John 10
25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!
Romans 5:3-5: "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope"
Jude 1:24-25
"Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen". This verse says that God can keep us from falling and present us before his glory without fault.
God began the work and promises to complete it.
