As the Taliban paraded captured U.S. military equipment through the streets of its capital city on the third anniversary of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, a congressman had a horrifying revelation. “I saw some of the vehicles that were built in my district being paraded across that field today,” Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) told “Washington Watch” last Thursday.

Although most Americans supported the cessation of the 20-year war in Afghanistan, the Biden-Harris administration’s execution resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. soldiers during a suicide bombing at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul and left an unknown number of American civilians stranded behind enemy lines.

The Biden-Harris administration responded by saying it had executed a plan originally negotiated by President Donald Trump — but that’s a half-truth, Walberg, a former pastor, told his former congressional colleague Jody Hice, who guest hosted the program. “President Trump had planned for it, had negotiated the means by which the Taliban would respect our withdrawal,” including a provision “that we would keep forces there, that we would hold the airfield and that we would have eyes on the ground still in that region.”

“That all changed with the election of the present president, who immediately after being sworn into office, showed a weakness and it blew up full tilt during the Afghan withdrawal,” Walberg explained.

Well, all we can do, as we can not travel back in time to 2021, is to pray for the 13 US soldiers who perished, and other victims of the attack, and also for the civilians who were left stranded. Not much can be done three years later after the fact. We kinda botched the attempt to pull out of Afghanistan, and should have initiated a slow ramp down of US military personnel in Afghanistan over a period of a few years (say ~2 years from 2021 to 2023 or ~5 years from 2021-2026), instead of immediately withdrawing.

Well, all we can do, as we can not travel back in time to 2021, is to pray for the 13 US soldiers who perished, and other victims of the attack, and also for the civilians who were left stranded. Not much can be done three years later after the fact. Wow, that early? If only that happened smoother, but something delayed the final withdrawal until September 2021. Dang, that was already three years ago already? Man, time flies brother.

Regardless, I do believe that is the effect of parading around an elderly man with dementia in front of our enemies.

It's a rather large coincidence that the Taliban, Putin, Hamas, and Hezbollah all decided to strike us or allies or friendly nations in the same 4 year span. I don't think their media sources or political parties lied to them. They saw what was hidden from the public here.

I don't think they'll be intimidated by Harris but hey....maybe she can distract them by hiring some rappers to twerk.
