Give me a link to a "credible" news source.Look harder. Many, even on this board, have tried to claim that January 6 was mostly peaceful.

Nope. That happens at the various party's conventions. The RNC already happened, the DNC is happening this week in Chicago. They call them Primary Elections; because that is where the Democratic process of electing the Party nominee takes place.
I never claimed it came from a credible source, but there are people who believe such things. Some have posted on these forums.Give me a link to a "credible" news source.
Voters don't vote for Vice Presidents. They vote for Presidents. In this case, Kamala Harris was elected. She was President Biden's running mate,
Do you understand the difference between voters and delegates?Nope. That happens at the various party's conventions.
What happened? A coup? An insurrection?Well, something happened.
..and it didn't occur to you that they were ridiculing the Leftstream Media's narrative?I never claimed it came from a credible source, but there are people who believe such things. Some have posted on these forums.
Both are on the ticket, both are on the ballot, and both are elected if they win.Voters don't vote for Vice Presidents. They vote for Presidents.
Not yet, but I do believe that most, if not all, of the delegates pledged to vote for Biden will be voting for her. I don't believe that has happened yet, though. Monday was only the first day, though.Harris was not elected as the Presidential nominee.
Parties decide their own nominees based on their own rules. No one votes for president until the general election, and that's not until November. If Trump slips in the polls; maybe the RNC should reconvene and try out a new nominee in public opinion polls; or would that be labeled an attempt to destroy Democracy and overthrow the governnent?
Yup.Do you understand the difference between voters and delegates?
Nixon already did that back in 1974. And yet, somehow, democracy and the country survived. If the Democratic Party wants to tell the voters that their votes don't count; it will be interesting to see their creative new definition for Democracy.
Neither. What happened? A coup? An insurrection?
..and in the end, the Delegates pick the President. Thanks for clarifying that the Democratic Party is making it clear to their voters that this isn't a Democracy.Parties decide their own nominees based on their own rules. No one votes for president until the general election, and that's not until November.
Nope...and it didn't occur to you that they were ridiculing the Leftstream Media's narrative?
Republicans understand that we live in a Republic. It was never a Democracy. Our first Republican President was not elected by the popular vote.Nixon already did that back in 1974. And yet, somehow, democracy and the country survived.
No, they pick the party's nominee. The electoral college then picks the president...and in the end, the Delegates pick the President.
What do you think it is, if not a democracy? Thanks for clarifying that the Democratic Party is making it clear to their voters that this isn't a Democracy.
If you could produce the Carlson quote; I suspect that you would have already done so.Nope.
They seemed sincere in their belief.
-- A2SG, and I'd never call Tucker Carlson credible...heck, even Fox News doesn't do that, they said so in court....
The Delegates pick the Electors, not the voters. Let's not split hairs. No, they pick the party's nominee. The electoral college then picks the president.
...a Republic if you can keep it.What do you think it is, if not a democracy?
The president has never been elected by popular vote. We've used the electoral college system since 1787.Republicans understand that we live in a Republic. It was never a Democracy. Our first Republican President was not elected by the popular vote.
It wasn't a quote. Tucker got ahold of the January 6 footage and produced an edited version that made it seem like the capitol police were escorting protesters through the capitol on a guided tour, including the infamous Shaman character. Many posters here cited that footage to claim that coverage of the riots on January 6 were misleading. If you could produce the Carlson quote; I suspect that you would have already done so.
Exactly. Maybe Democrats will begin to wake up and dismiss this illusion of Democracy. The president has never been elected by popular vote
