This is becoming confusing...
Not if the laws being advocated by some for the legalization against hate speech are put in place. Calling someone a racist is being judgemental and unkind. Plus, attacking people with that kind of label shouldn't be done, should it? Do you think people should be attacked?
I'm not talking about the laws. It was a genuine question about what you think. The matter has become confused. I'm looking for some clarity. This is not a gotcha. I want to know what your position is. If someone says or does something that you consider to be racist, should you be allowed to call them out on that?
Depends on what you mean by "call them out". If you're referring to the idea of simply having a discussion with the person because you believe they are saying something that is racist, then sure. But if you mean simply responding to people you don't agree with by saying "you're a racist", and then telling them that if they deny that they are racist, then it is proof they are racist, then that's not helpful at all. That sort of thing is only meant to end a discussion and silence people you don't agree with.
So your question wasn't quite as genuine as you claimed it was.
When I asked if you thought you could be allowed to say something, I wasn't talking about you mum allowing you to say it. I was obviously talking about a legal restriction. It was an honest question. Treat as you will.
Just don’t say racist things. It’s easy. The best piece of advice I ever got growing up was “no matter how much you want to don’t ever do a murder or say something racist; you can’t put that genie back it the bottle”.

Well yes. They are law breakers and need to be punished. Just like those no good dope smokers; they broke the law and society needs to be protected from them.

The problem is that many liberals define any speech that doesn’t agree with them as misinformation therefore silence the political opposition and problem solved.
Hate speech is legally defined so you can't just label something as hate speech anymore than you can just label something communism.
