The bands and artists who I enjoy that have still been making new albums within the last 4 years are: Disciple, TobyMac, Skillet, Kutless, Ann Wilson, Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake, MercyMe, Newsboys, Seventh Day Slumber.... just to name a few.

Woo, Kutless, MercyMe, Newsboys and Seventh Day Slumber are on my list. Skillet was a little too heavy for me, but that band was popular in the second half of the 2000s. I need to check out Brandon Lake's older stuff, cos I might have heard his stuff in the 2010s, though I can not recall.

The first song is very, very good with powerful lyrics and enjoyable music. "With me in the Fire" reminds me of the pop styles of Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman. Praise the Lord that He is always with us, even IN THE FIRE!!!

The song, "Only Thing I Need" is very cool. Nice upbeat melody, strong lyrics and the vocals reminded me of 90s Newsboys songs. Well done, y'all.

That is my favorite one on his album. Totally gives a 1990s Newsboys vibe. @Martin Barret brought my childhood Christian music back in 2024. God bless Martin's new album. It was written with true, holy intent.

Hey there! Nancy here! Thanks so much DreamyLaLa! If it was for just ONE person that the songs were written, then praise God. That's all the matters - that because of the song lyrics, you are reminded of God's presence through the stress of just dealing with life. Anxiety is a 'given' in the present climate, so those verses in God's Word that deal with trusting are crucial!
Martin is the recording guy, but I contribute to writing (I wrote all the lyrics to 'On That Day' and 'Waiting To Be Found') and singing on his tracks. I also serve as 'advisor' to his many recording ideas.
The album was all done in our home.

Hi Tdidymas! Are you a twin by any chance? I am so glad you enjoyed 'Reimagine'. We did a video for the song a while back, but the mix is just a little different from the one you enjoyed on the album. The video is a pastiche of the one done up by Lennon and Yoko. The 'film' quality scenes were actually done on a real, 16mm film camera and converted to digital. The message is important! Yes! Can't imagine John's imagine at all being the way through and out! Amen to Jesus' promises!
