I agree with you entirely, though the second biggest indicator for the rise of tyranny is extremist propaganda. Later this week, I will watch a documentary about how the 1936 Olympics was operated in the fascist nation of Nazi Germany, and how tensions were high back then. The movie is Race (2016). China has a single party state, if I am not mistaken, along with North Korea and a few other nations. Have you noticed the propaganda from the American far-right over the past few years? It echos 1930s Germany, and is pretty scary stuff.

Easter is not on the same day each year and can share that day with other days. Other events that can happen on the same day as easter, Holi (Hindu festival) and Eid (for Muslims).

Since we have Americans who are Hindu and Muslim, and if the President wished those Americans with Happy Holi or Eid Mubarak, would you have a problem with that and want the President to only wish people Happy Easter ? If so, why ? If not, why not ?

True. But in order to avoid controversy, just for 2024, Biden could have skipped trans day. Transgenderism is not a religion, so the Hindu and Muslim analogy fails there.

The analogy does not fail. March 31st is a day designated for Transgender day of visibility. Holi and Eid can also change days like Easter. There are transgender americans. Why should they be sidelined in favor of Easter (or even Holi or Eid)?

No. The president should ideally not recognize any holidays, and just do his/her job at serving the American people, or instead, recognize multiple religious holidays.

But when I brought up the possibility that other religious holidays could also fall on that day, your position now is that the president should not wish anyone on anything. Nobody is gonna vote for Democrats if they keep on pushing trans stuff onto minors. Back in 2020, I voted Democrat. In 2024, that is less likely for me to happen, and I might vote 3rd party, cos this woke nonsense has got to go. Democrats were much better 10 to 50 years ago, same with Republicans. We need another John McCain in 2024.
