The other thing is ... the original debate agreement for ABC was with Trump and Biden (not Harris) ... that changed ... Biden had openly stated he would debate Trump any where/anytime Trump was just fine with that ... so who is the real "chicken" here? The left twists things around and then spews their deceptions and people fall for it.
That's right! Since Biden said he would debate anytime and anywhere, why isn't Harris adopting that stance? She adopts the agreements he made, but not his "anywhere, anytime" tenacity. Not that it worked out very well for Biden.
What a silly question to ask. Not every one is set on their candidate and determined to go out and actually vote. There are plenty of people who would be OK with her or even prefer her to Trump that need to be convinced to go out and actually vote for her. It's the same reason Trump campaigns.
He did plenty of campaigning in the primaries before the pandemic hit.
There are 90 days left. Plenty of time for interviews.
Why would anyone debate on this channel? Or even watch this channel? Since they been caught knowingly lying.
Same reason Trump agreed to debate on CNN, and even went to the black journalist organization knowing that it wasn't a friendly crowd. He's not afraid to face those who wish to question him.

My understanding is that the received wisdom in these matters is that the leader in the polls has no real reason to debate the opponent.
Then why did Trump debate Biden - he was leading in the polls before, but not nearly as much as after.

I don't know about owing it but certainly she should make her case. However I find it odd that those who are so ideologically opposed to her are harping on this.
What do you mean “but why”. I read and listen to both sides all the time. I call it being informed. Listening to only one side makes you intellectually myopic.
It seems that her lack of transparency has become rather opaque to her supporters, so it needs to be pointed out.
he handled the questioning just fine. It was his questioners who lost their minds hearing his responses. They just couldn't handle hearing the truth.
