I don’t care if they practice their religion, though I would hope that they’d convert to Christianity. However, our laws should be based on God’s word, and not various forms of paganism. I would think you’d agree.

Well that must be the secret. I’m in my mid 40s and I need a hysterectomy but the process to get it has taken well over a year and a half. Apparently if I’m 13, they just hand them out to everybody. No screening. No nothing. An idle wish and, blam, out comes the uterus.

Hmmmmm....you should join the Army. I had a vasectomy at 22 at Gorgas Hospital, Panama Canal Zone. I agreed to it, so did my wife and it was done. Knowing all the red tape of the military and the quickness of my procedure forgive me for saying but I don't believe your story......at all.

Since you don't know me or really anything about me, that demonstrates a true arrogance towards those who oppose your positions. I love the irony of being called arrogant and not knowing anything about you exactly 3 posts down from arrogantly telling me you know better than I do the process to getting my hysterectomy, lol.

Well, after 25+ years working in Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology it is something of a learned habit. But a year and half (?) for a 40yo to get a hysterectomy?.....You either need a new doctor or a new medical insurance company (since they are the ones who really pull the strings (control the billing) in the civilian medical arena).

Well, I tried to go to my cardiologist to get my hysterectomy, but he pointed out that isn’t his field and I should probably go to a surgical OB/GYN. Frustrating, since I had just gone to the GYN to for my ventricular tachycardia and wouldn’t you know, they couldn’t help me with with that.

That whole “oh I work in (insert medical field here)” thing may work on some people, but it doesn’t work on me. Working in a hospital, in a unit, or in a specialty doesn’t make you a doctor, a specialist in all medical treatments, an expert in another non-patient’s medical treatment, or an I disputable authority on how all treatments for all things go.

So forgive me for not thinking “guy who carefully worded he worked in a highly specific unrelated specialty in an unknown capacity, but got a vasectomy several decades ago in another country” is in any way even remotely equipped to explain to me what my hysterectomy experience must really be. LoL!

Not you, some other poster is currently explaining to me what my process to getting a hysterectomy has really been like. I was under the impression it has taken more than a year, but he says otherwise.

I was always under the impression I was a woman, but people tell me new things about myself on here all the time. It’s hard keeping straight what I think I am from what I’m told I am.
