The original OP specifically included a link to an article regarding the stabbing that happened in
Supposedly as reported the violence occurred to misinformation about the perpetrator and that misinformation being that the perpetrator was a Muslim immigrant ... if true then I'm just trying to get across that the riot was not based on brown or black (skin color) but rather based on the attacker was believed as being Muslim and Muslim is a religious belief. Islam is not a race it's a religion.
On one hand they are saying the riot was based on the religion component ... yet blaming it on race (skin color) by right-wing extremists as well ...
Protestors on the ground attacked the local mosque and clashed with police units, chanting “Allah, Allah, who the f*** is Allah” and “we want our country back”. A livestream of the riot was posted to YouTube, with commenters posting their support in real time. 16 hours after posting, it has nearly 200,000 views.
From rumours to riots: How online misinformation fuelled violence in the aftermath of the Southport attack
Not talking about scripture here .... but there obviously was a religious component (and was the main component) to what happened. The "evidence" points to the religious aspect not the race (skin color) aspect.
Not wise to combine the two (race/religion) .... if so then that can be done with any religion.
