A Rare Combination of Extreme Cringe and Racism

Apparently, this person (let's not assume gender) was part of the "White Women for Kamala" zoom meeting. This was one of multiple cringey racially segregated zoom meetings rallying support for Harris. While this may seem bizarrely like racial/sex segregation (because it is) articles on the left frames these events as a good things....because on the left, these inherent superficial characteristics are "identity groups" packed full of meaning (or at least assumptions) about your place in society, your moral obligations, and what you should think/how you should act. The most racist thing I caught in the white men and white women meetings is said by this woman in the short video. She mentions how it's wrong to interrupt (speak over someone non-white...suggesting it's acceptable to interrupt white people) how it's wrong to speak for someone (again, someone non-white...as she's clearly speaking for a whole lot of people) and the extremely racist (god forbid) correcting someone non-white....because under this new religion, white people are wrong and non-white people are correct....so resist any inclination to correct a non-white person if they say something wrong....they aren't wrong.

It's probably the most racist political speech I've seen in my lifetime, but it's actually a rather standard statement of beliefs for the left these days. The thing, of course, is it was very "on the nose" with the new beliefs openly expressed instead of talked around like obstacles.

I'm assuming this is the result of a campaign that needs to make headway, fast. Early voting in some states begins in September...so Harris needs to both begin and end her campaign with a bang. The reason for the segregation is, of course, the belief in the inherent racism of everyone and everyone's inability to identify with anyone of another race or sex. I didn't watch the non-white meetings (as a white man, I'm not even supposed to watch the white women) but the predictability of these beliefs and enforced uniformity of beliefs means I can probably predict what was said and what the topics were.

For those who don't understand why this collection of beliefs, often referred to as woke, gets compared to a religion...pay attention to how much time is spent on moralizing instead of political values, issues, and solutions. Apparently the person in the short video is a kindergarten teacher (scary, right?) so her condescending tone is something she's known for all the time. Notice how she begins with a justification for speaking at all....she (and by extension white women) was "tapped" into this conversation by women of color. She was commanded to speak by her moral superiors. She isn't supposed to speak about herself or her problems or opinions...but to use her magical white privilege to promote the problems and opinions of women of color (again, as her moral superiors who hold less privilege....she believes she has all this power, which she is only justified in using for the benefit of women of color, not herself or white people's problems. This earns her the title of "good ally" which means "effective servant" in this context.

I recall when conservatives were called creepy and cultish for wearing a bandage over their ear....which I can understand. If you're on the outside looking in, and lack empathy for a man who was almost murdered for his politics....it does seem creepy and cultish. I took it as similar to shaving ones head in solidarity with a friend going through chemo....a sign of solidarity....but I get why it creeped others out.

My question is, if you're other political left....did these videos "meetings" also creep you out? Did they seem rather standard for what you expect from the left these days? I'm reminded of a goofy political meme under Trump that had something to do with the "panther ate my face" party....only I can't decide exactly what meme name fits this new Democratic Party best...

I've got it down to...

2. The virtual political party simulator party.
3. The racists against racism party.
4. The build yourself a comfortable cage party.
5. The I'm rubber you're glue party.
6. The just tell me what my opinions are party. (Also a little too on the nose).

And probably my favorite if I can think of a way to shorten it....

7. We can end oppressionTM if we just get rid of that other party....party.

Anyway, jokes aside, did your assigned identity group video creep you out? Did you get any "cultist" vibes while watching it? Did you feel left out because your identity group wasn't included or you have an identity more complex than skin color+genitalia+sexual orientation?

If you didn't watch any, and already know what your group will say or want to watch the most amusing....I strongly suggest the white liberal dudes video. It's a bit like an AA meeting with a bunch of sad, resentful white liberal dudes apologizing for how long they've been a white liberal dude....ways to avoid the pitfalls of being a white liberal dude....and the unspoken hope that one day they'll no longer be white liberal dudes and instead be bears or someone women prefer to be around. I know it's not meant to be comedy but it's pretty funny for not even trying.

As a brown man raised by white parents and travel overseas, I am tired of seeing the Democrats bring up race in everything (and I am also tired of seeing the Democrats support the cringe-fest that happened at the Olympics). No wonder, cos Democrats were pretty racist during the Jim Crow era and even further back, during the Civil War era. It was the Republican, Abe Lincoln that ended slavery in the mid-1860s. Nowadays, the Republicans have gone so far away from Lincoln's ideals as well.

Both parties kinda suck nowadays, just saying. We need some 1970s-2000s politics again, cos I am an old soul in a young man.

Yes, the Republican party has also been taking a turn for the worse as well. I know you are an atheist, but we need to pray for our country to a return to normalcy like it was 20 or 50 years ago.

Sadly, there's no going back.

The big change was Obama. The biggest voter group in the US is white men over 35. It's not even close. Where white men go....there too goes the election. Democrats used to court working and middle class white men....but Obama energized a minority voter coalition of asians, latinos, and most importantly....black people. Obama got a lot of white voters....but because he got these record numbers of minority voters, he didn't need as many. A new strategy was drawn up for Democrats....one that relied more on resentment and blame of white men than courting their votes. You could see it in the rhetoric as well...systemic racism (a brand new version of racism caused by white men...unconsciously) and "white supremacy" (which also changed to a very broad and unclear definition) became problems that Dems could promise to fight....without any actual improvements made to the lives of citizens. It's all very vague and nebulous....and yet, it became the explanation for every problem. Schools not educating students? White supremacy. Too many black men in jail for crimes? Systemic racism.

Hillary ran on this and lost...because the white male vote left in droves. It turns out about 70% of us can spot when we're being scapegoated and dehumanized. Trump won.

So did the Democrats abandon this plan? Not entirely....but Biden didn't spend nearly as much time blaming white men as Hillary did...so he got a lot of them back.

Now they have a real problem though. It's getting old....it's getting stale...and this administration put a ton of non-white non-men in power and it hasn't gone well. The white man they intended to run can barely walk....so he left the race.

Kamala wasn't anyone's first option....she's the only option. Donors would have demanded money back. What can she run on? Her record? Terrible. Her charisma? Non-existant. Her own staff kept quitting because they

hated working for her....and the media has been taking shots at her (instead of Biden) for the past 3.5 years because Biden had to hide from reporters, cameras, and questions.

It's not white supremacy that's getting girls raped in NYC parks and nursing students murdered in Georgia. You've got a really odd yet strong support for terrorists like Hamas on the left. You've got grocery stores still closing because of looting in inner cities....and they've got no competition, all those other stores left too.

Black people are sick of the pandering...and they can't keep going after white men, because they need their votes more than ever. That's why the rhetoric on Trump and Vance is now that they're "weird"....almost childish.

People want the police back. They want criminals off the streets. They think homeless citizens deserve more help than the homeless illegals begging for handouts. The only people who got what they wanted from this administration are the same super rich donors that don't want Trump.

Kamala is literally running on "I'm a black woman" and that's not much.

So...as a result...there's this weird effect in the mainstream media where they've dropped any pretense at being objective or impartial and they're literally acting like a cheerleading squad for Kamala. They're trying to get everyone to ignore/forget the assassination attempt....and they're literally pretending that Kamala could be something genuinely good for the US. They can't say why...but as long as they keep calling Trump and Vance weird, and Harris....brave? (I honestly can't think of any positive descriptions of her that are consistent) I think they're hoping it's enough....

I'm actually a proponent of the political paradigm shift associated with the southern dixicrats and northern Republicans. By the end of the civil rights era....you can see more racist rhetoric coming from Republicans and more concern for minority rights and fighting racism from the Democrats.

I know it's difficult to understand why and how it happened....and a lot of it has to do with the suburban sprawl and end of the hippie counterculture....but it's a very real thing that happened imo.

If it's difficult to believe....consider this....for completely different reasons and political motives....it's happened again. The Republican Party is the party that promotes the idea that all racism is bad and racial identities are superficial and racial stereotypes are a bad thing. The Democratic Party however promotes the idea that some racism is good or acceptable, and racial identities are important and should be taught to children, and those racial identities are packed full of racial stereotypes that they promote and use in their politics. Tim Scott? He's a black Republican so it was completely acceptable to call him "uncle Tim". When Kanye put on a MAGA hat....he lost his status as a black man.

The left is openly racist towards white men....and aren't even remotely ashamed of it. They're indirectly racist and infantilize black people....just watch the video. Black people are so sensitive that they can't handle being corrected by a white people. They're so incompetent they need special programs to get jobs they aren't qualified for (DEI). Asians are only successful because they suck up to whites according to Dems. Any other groups are only part of the coalition in name...the problems of latinos and native Americans are things Dems pretend to care about.

Trans people have very little to offer Dems....so it's the ones supported by big pharma that sell children sterilizing pills that get support.

Yeah, sadly there is no going back to 1970-2009. The left is totally racist to anyone who is white anymore. The Democrats do not want to help anyone else. The Republicans need to put up someone other than Trump, and the maybe I will vote Republican in 2024, just anything to get rid of the woke nonsense. Most crime is black on black, so this whole BLM stuff gets old really quickly. BLM was okay in 2020, but has gotten worse in 2024. If we want less black folks getting hurt, we need to control, reduce or ban the sale of semi-autos, whichever gets the vote.
