There’s a reason she was the back-up: Thoughts on the Harris hysteria
They surely knew we'd notice, right?

But let’s pretend otherwise.

She may not be the most concise speaker but at least she didn’t veer off into sinking boats, batteries, and sharks.Insightful...
I am meeting with a lot of folks. And the work that we have begun is the work that is going to be ongoing. There is no question, and I said this from the beginning, that our approach to this issue has to be with a commitment to a long-term investment and it has to be a commitment to consistency, the United States has to be consistent. There were times when were more engaged and we saw good results, less engaged, and we can see where the work and the partnerships then deteriorate. So I am committed to ensuring that we engage in an active way on the root causes, on addressing the cause and effect, and also being partners in the western hemisphere, understanding that we have a responsibility and if we ignore that responsibility it will visit itself upon us in a very domestic way.-Kamala Harris
Isn't she supposed to be better than, rather than same as?She may not be the most concise speaker but at least she didn’t veer off into sinking boats, batteries, and sharks.
I don’t expect every leader to be talented speaker. Speech writers usually make up the difference.Isn't she supposed to be better than, rather than same as?
Brilliant!Insightful...

That's one way around it I suppose.I don’t expect every leader to be talented speaker. Speech writers usually make up the difference.

You must not have listened to her talk.Supposed to be and is.
'Is the same as', or 'is no better than', or 'is just as bad as' isn't much of an endorsement.Too bad incoherent ramblings are the norm from the alternative on offer.
Agreed. And I would not say such things myself.'Is the same as', or 'is no better than', or 'is just as bad as' isn't much of an endorsement.
Ah I guess I misread your post. It probably didn't compute since there's such a slew of incoherent rambling quotes from Harris.Agreed. And I would not say such things myself.
I have listened to both talk. Poor Donald used to be coherent; he could talk in complete paragraphs with complex clauses without getting lost. Nowadays, he is disjointed, repetitious and rambles terribly. Maybe you are not familiar with the Donald of yesteryear - he wasn't pleasant but he was articulate. #SadYou must not have listened to her talk.
