There is absolutely no doubt at all The Paris Agreement is one of the primary reasons for those, and probably others, peculiarities there at these Olympics.
Most likely. If France really wants to be eco-friendly without taking away freedoms, there are better ways of doing it, such as composting, using LED lights, using less plastic, reusing materials, buying second hand, donating to tree planting organizations to plant fruit trees in Africa, and driving Japanese cars. Yes, most of my shirts are second hand, the ones that I have gotten since the early 2020s.
Also, I am planning on keeping my Samsung Galaxy A54 phone for > 6 years until 2030+ (by setting the charge limit to 80%, and shutting the phone off at night to reduce battery degradation). My co-worker has an iPhone 7 from 2016 that is still going strong in 2024. But no one is gonna mess with my food supply.
Here are some of the strategies that are much more feasible to take care of the world, without taking away personal freedoms. The ones that are in bold are things that I have done myself. Notice how none of my strategies include messing with my food supply. I rarely eat beef and pork, cos chicken is my preference (and takes less time to make), so I already cut down on meat emissions. Chicken has one of the lowest emissions per serving when it comes to meats. Yes, I eat chocolate, so my emissions go up, but let a man enjoy his German chocolate.
Just checked my June electric bill. 400 kWh of electricity used. That is a lot, but most of that energy usage comes from my Energy Star certified dehumidifier. My dad says I can not shut the dehumidifier off, as my condo is almost hermetically sealed and suffers from humidity issues.

| Christian Tips for Environment | In the context of our modern world, these verses call us to be good stewards of the Earth and apply biblical principles to mitigate environmental degradation. Here are some ways we can apply these verses to our lives in 2024:
1. Cultivate a mindset of care and respect for the Earth as God's creation, acknowledging our responsibility to tend to it.
2. Reduce our carbon footprint by using renewable energy sources such as wind and solar and adopting ecological practices in daily life (ex. composting, using energy efficient LED bulbs, riding a bike to the store, driving small fuel-efficient Japanese hybrids/crossovers).
3. Support and advocate for environmentally sustainable policies, including reducing plastic use, promoting recycling, investing in public transport & mixed-use urban developments, and minimizing waste.
4. Practice conservation by preserving natural resources and protecting habitats for various species.
5. Educate ourselves and others about the importance of caring for the Earth as a moral imperative, rather than just an environmental concern.
6. Pray for God's guidance in our efforts to be good stewards of the Earth and ask for His help in overcoming challenges related to caring for creation. |
