  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How did ancient people teach their children to study?
Did they have education system?
Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses etc., did they send their children to school?
Did they teach their children how to speak and write?
As far as Adam was concerned, there would have been just his own children, and the question arises, if he sent them to school, who would be the teachers? We don't read in the bible of Adam, Noah and Moses sending children to school. I imagine parents would have taught their own children - this was certainly true as far as things about God were concerned. For example, God said to the Israelites:

“6 "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 "You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” (De 6:6-7 NKJV)
