That’s Mostly False. Illegal immigration during Trump’s administration was higher than it was during both of former President Barack Obama’s terms.

Trump just keeps saying things which are false. It is almost like he can't help himself.

I think Democrats really just need to stop harping in the fact that trump lies all the time; aggregiously and without being held responsible. It's one of the benefits of being a good manipulator of others.

The fact is that his supporters LITERALLY don't care about how much he lies, nor that his lies means it just doesnt matter. They don't even have a realistic picture of how much he lies because they've also fallen for his schpiel that liberals just "blindly hate him" for no reason.

I have yet to see a conservative harping about energy independence who had the first clue what they were talking about. They don't understand the basics of what affects energy markets, what causes production to go up and down, what causes prices to go up and down, how permitting and exploration work, or how the Keystone pipeline fits into any of that. And then if you try to get into a more philosophical discussion about what "independence" truly means and how green energy could factor into that... blank stares.

In every single interaction I've had, "energy independence" is just a euphemism for pro-oil/coal propaganda.

You have to question why we import at all. Is it because of the rhetoric about fossil fuels? What company in their right mind would spend billions on fossil fuel infrastructure when they know the government wants to shut them down?
