Probably not. This thread, though not intentioned to do so, has abundantly demonstrated the inability of a number of posters to recognize fact from propaganda.

The legacy media has so inundated the public with hate speech towards one candidate that fact gives way to vitriolic rhetoric.

I don't favor either but it's nice to share information. But if doing so leads to trains wrecks and accusations your reluctance is understandable.

Trump is lying. I posted the story and TenderTL5 posted video of Trump addressing the Heritage Foundation and explicitly talking about and praising the foundation for building a plan for his administration. At the time it was not called Project 2025, but it is what became Project 2025. Trump knew about it. He knew who was writing it. He absolutely did endorse what they were doing. Over 200 of his former and current administration and campaign staff contributed to it.

It's a University. It's one of those special cutouts that liberals are willing to drop their rules for. They don't care how much money they make, they don't care how much money the CEO (president) makes. They say nothing against the universities for charging so much money for kids to go there. It's one business they are happy to have us pay for (free college).

It's a charity because the government allows it to be one. If it allows it to be one it can also allow it not to be one. It's the one charity that can charge their customers an arm and a leg to go there. Kind of like some hospitals.

If you think folks on the left don't care what universities charge or what their bloated administration makes, then, frankly, you haven't been paying attention and have no idea what you're talking about. IME, the closer folks are to academia, the more angry they are about this. My wife works in higher ed and many of my colleagues and friends have been professors or adjuncts at one time or another and there's way more across-the-board loathing for university administration than I see among my private sector friends for their upper management.

Any charity can charge their customers an arm and a leg. The rules govern how these organizations spend their revenues, not so much how they raise the revenues.

So? That's how government works. Congressman like some things in a bill but not everything. In this case what a group gets forth some ideas they actually may hit on some things you agree with.

The Heritage Foundation is a conservative group and if one is a conservative or a moderate they probably would agree with on some things. Why wouldn't they?

If some liberal group came up with something like this I bet you and Biden or Harris would find some things in there that you support.

And we conservatives would probably hate it. Or at least hate most of it. But if we are honest with each other we could probably find some common ground somewhere.
