This one is even more fun. What do you think of her Christmas mag?

I think that little girl picked up on the AR pretty fast; No? I'm mean not that she would be able to pick it up or anything.
Do you think anyone here would get upset at the "Hello, Kitty" AR-15?

a day at a range shooting rifled slugs doesn't strike me as a fun Saturday. I've shot rifled slugs before and know what to expect from them, and while I can shoot with them, a whole day of it doesn't sound appealing to my shoulder.
Ammo prices are so right right now that I don't see myself throwing that much lead in the air; but I used to regularly spend all day plinking water jugs with 9 pellet .00 and 1 oz, slugs. Big fun! I would use my tactical shotgun with dual pistol grips; so my shoulder didn't come into play. One thing that I can say is that when I would shoot the magnum rounds; that it was hard on my wrists. I couldn't do that all day.

Scary stuff to see a little girl fooling around with a gun. Throwing caution to the wind
Actually, not, for an important reason: It teaches that firearms aren't "mysterious" and that eliminates curiosity. It's also a good opportunity to teach firearm safety, which is important whether one likes to shoot or not. Things like always treat a firearm like it's loaded, never point it at anything you don't intend to shoot, checking the chamber to make sure it's unloaded, all sorts of things. We grew up around firearms back in the day and while hunting was fun, firearms were seen as a tool, a dangerous one that had to be treated with respect. That's why children with firearms are supervised, or should be. Not supervising a child with a firearm, now that's scary.

Please explain. I've taken multiple NRA firearms safety courses, from multiple instructors, all of them ex-military, one of them an ex green beret. I've watched several of this little girl's videos now. This little girl is more disciplined than I am. I have seen zero unsafe practices, or conditions, in any of her videos. Maybe you can teach me something, by pointing one out.

Kids and guns don't go together.
Nonsense.

If one starts young; he grows into his proficiency more quickly.

BTW, the title of this video is very misleading. They're not making guns. They're being taught, in a classroom setting, how to quickly tear down and reassemble an automatic handgun.

Here is the reality:

China teaching elementary school children how to use mortars

Watch these Russian children assemble and dismantle Kalashnikov rifles in seconds

National Defense Education & Military Training at High School in China

Schoolchildren receive military training in Russian-occupied Crimea

There are many situations when children are introduced to firearms. Some through hunting, shooting for sport, farming and JROTC to name a few. I did JROTC in high school and had no problem lifting a gun and we had rifles nor am I bothered by firearms. I plan to join a shooting club when we move. As with most things it's a personal choice.

This is why we have kids shooting up schools, etc.

They have mental and emotional struggles that are well documented that aren't related to gun ownership. The majority is due to bullying which is the result of shoddy parenting.

As someone who has lived 70 years in non-gun owning households, all I can say is:
ROFL.
We moved from a house when I was four, and my mom told me that she counted 300 guns in the garage when we moved. We didn't have nearly that many when I grew up, in a large metro area. My brother did set up a range in the basement where he could practice with a 22.

That's seriously cute!

ETA: For the unaware, Hello Kitty is most frequently worn by teens and adults although its marketed to children.

I believe that the "inalienable rights" of the Second Amendment have been interpreted much more narrowly in the first 200 years if our history.
Aggressive lobbying by the NRA, their funding university law school chairs of extremist professors, etc. have warped the original Second Amendment.

From 1775-1980, no one could have ever owned an AR15 or assault weapon, and that is how it should be.

Way.

Not just like this one. Different time, different place, different circumstances.

Context is key to understanding
Wow. None of that had any kind of effort toward exegensis whatsoever.

Understanding Yah's word is just as relevant today, as it was yesterday, as it will be tomorrow.
This is a nonsequitor to what I wrote.

I'll leave you with this:

(CLV) Lk 22:36
Yet He said to them, "But now, he who has a purse let him pick it up, likewise a beggar's bag also; and he who has none, let him sell his cloak and buy a sword.
Tell you what, when buying a gun fulfills an ancient Biblical prophesy, I may have a bit more of an open mind.

You JUST wrote "context is key to understanding" and then post that verse all by itself, with no context and no explanation whatsoever.

A lot more funding of universities comes in from those who would like to see law abiding gun owners disarmed.

We have people getting stabbed with knives here but nobody says let's ban knives.
Most people of average intelligence realize that it's not the knife , it's the person behind the knife.
