I don't know why I'm doing this but here goes:
You did this because you know your intended audience is not the intransigent, self-indulgent, nay-sayers who adamantly refuse to examine the evidence objectively, but the undecided individuals, with open minds, who have seen a smidgeon of reason in the FE believers, but are not convinced either way and seek a simple explanation of why FE is wrong.

And a jolly good job you did of it!

Expect zero responses from any flat earthers, although there may be a token claim of "perspective".
They will simply move on to some other argument and pretend they never saw your post..
I’m expecting that, or an out of context Bible verse to “prove” the human eye is limited, like Jeremiah 5: 21

“Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not”

That’s as much in context as all the other verses they use to “prove” a flat earth

There are people with intelligence,
curiosity and who arewilling / eager to learn.

Our Filipina maid came to HK with literally
no idea where HK is, no idea how it can be
cold in America, less still how it's a different time and day in America. Didn't know the earth is round like
an orange and kind of got dizzy when it came tp
other planets, galaxies!

Bit she was fascinated by it, even if it took her
a while to change her perspective so much.

We were all like that once.

And I even thought Pluto was our ninth planet at one time!

I've reported you to animal welfare for flogging a dead horse.

Remember what they say:

The past is key to the present.

Unless, of course, they have a checkered past, and don't like someone bringing it up all the time.

Like they do with supposedly Biblical slavery, Moses ordering genocide, women being abused, and the like.

Which really has nothing to do with the thread topic at all. So maybe you should just go and start your own thread on those topics if you want them discussed.

essentialsaltes says: "don't stare at the eclipse without eye protection [unless and until it's total]"

Conspiracy Theorists Say Everyone Should Stare at the Eclipse Without Eye Protection

"People can see just by common sense that the sun is not 93 million miles away," one TikToker said.

Some of the theories that it’s fine to stare at the eclipse are rooted in nothing more than a belief that everyone should just ignore experts.

“When the eclipse happens, ditch the glasses. They are a lie,” one account on X claimed. “Look at it with your eyes, and the flat earth truth will be revealed. The glasses are not to protect your eyes… they are to protect their LIES!”

Dr. Ronald Benner, president of the American Optometric Association, told Gizmodo last month that retinal tissue can be irreversibly damaged by staring at the sun.

“Once that tissue has been damaged, it’s up to the body to try to repair it. There is no medication, there is no treatment, there are no workarounds. And that’s why we take this so seriously, because once it’s done, it’s done,” Benner said.

Prove that it can't.

This photo is taken of a grain bin from a hill (Tchula Ms), the grain bin is in a town (Belzoni Ms) 17 miles away. The grain bin can not be seen with the human eye, only by zooming in with a camera.

Stop procrastinating. You didn't answer my question. I refer you back to my post #938 and repeat: What is the obstruction which limits the human eye to see the lower area of Object B if the earth is flat? And I'm talking about an island which can be easily seen by the naked eye 21 miles away from the locations where I took the photos in my post #878.

From the lower location, the lower regions of the island cannot be seen regardless of magnification.

Stop pontificating.
While @d taylor may well have been pontificating (I think they were), you may have meant procrastinating, which they definitely were. I am an expert on procrastination and can recognise it from more than three miles away! :)

After reflection, procrastinating is more appropriate. Although a person can both pontificate and procrastinate at the same time.

The same is true of the tiny print on that little tube of lip balm I bought yesterday (can't be seen with *my* eyes anyway without blowing it up on my phone).

Is that because the lip balm is too far away, or because it subtends too small an angle on my retina?

Changing the image does not make the grain bin any closer (right? It's fixed in place) it just makes it bigger.

I can see Mount Wilson, covered in snow from the recent rains, quite easily with my eyes, despite it being about 30 miles from me. The advantage Mt. Wilson has over the grain bin is that it is much much bigger. So it subtends a much larger angle of one's field of view at any given distance.

Here is a case in point:
