I'd contest the "majority" part, too. But it's always heartening to imagine that your fringe movement is the "voice" of a made up majority. The silent majority?
If we used this forum as an example, you might find that every single thread started regarding gender has been a complaint about some aspect of it. And in most cases, complaining about something as inane as Transgender Day happening to occur at Easter this year.
There is one thread moaning that a US government department suggested it's employees used terms like parents instead of mother and father, and 'good morning all' instead of 'good morning ladies and gentlemen'. The horror, eh? And that is currently over three and half thousand posts long.
The silent majority? You guys won't stop bringing it up.
Though other people aren't bombarded by the straight agenda every other day.If my sarcasm isn't obvious it must be because today is April 1st in my part of the world. Back to reality. If anyone in the US says that trans people are invisible or unheard in this day and age then you're lying through your teeth. Everyday regular people are bombarded by a form of it. From adverts to talkshow to social media influencers. Not to mention that they have a whole month dedicated to the collective.
What a lot of people don't get is that the silent majority is tired of it. Like a sermon that lasted too long. Fatigue sets in. But instead of sayings ok let's wrap it up, it escalates to an absurd level. As a Christian even I don't want a Sunday service to last forever and being blasted in my face every single day and every single moment of my waking existence.
That is the push back from the silent majority.
Wouldn’t it have made more sense to hold transgender visibility day on April 1st instead of March 31st? To me that would be more fitting. That would certainly be the ones who side with secularism and worldliness.
Just wait tell 2029 and it will be on April 1st.Wouldn’t it have made more sense to hold it on April 1st instead of March 31st? To me that would be more fitting.
Isn’t that when Ivanka is supposed to be in office?Just wait tell 2029 and it will be on April 1st.
Right, I had forgotten the talking point about the 22nd amendment not being a thing and the president being entitled to another term because he encountered pushback during his first term.Nah, that'll be Donalds third term.
AmenHe is Risen ... and that is what is important .... not a specific day.
The 31st of March has been "transgender visibility day" for quite several ... it just so happens this year it fell on easter sunday. It is about the same as sacrificing a pig on the altar in the Jewish temple.
No I was referring to transgender visibility day, not Easter.Just wait tell 2029 and it will be on April 1st.
Yeah! The sun, moon, light, air, day, night, water, sleep, and even gravity impose their natures on us, too! How dare they!Though other people aren't bombarded by the straight agenda every other day.
Straight couples shown on TV and movies
Overly sexualized influencers showing as much as they can online
Magazine made fore the straight white male.
Straight people preaching every day on TV on dozens of channels about their straightness.
None of that happens all year long does it?
Ah so you want Easter & Transgender Visibility Day to occur on the same day again in 2029?No I was referring to transgender visibility day, not Easter.
Also known as Sam Houston told y’all so month. It's "Confederate History Month" now. Let us remember Confederate history by remembering how much losing they did in Confederate Surrender Month.
The first instance of Transgender Visibility Day was 2009. It's not even the first time Biden proclaimed it, that was 2021. It's always been on March 31st.

Biden First President to Issue Transgender Day of Visibility Proclamation
Biden praised the transgender community for "generations of struggle, activism, and courage that have brought our country closer to full equality for transgender and gender non-binary people in the United States and around the world."www.newsweek.com
Would you have preferred it if they moved the day this year to not have it conincide with Easter Sunday?
