and my understanding is, this is only local, that if your a legal imigrant or person living legally in the country with a visa and such of course maybe you should have a vote on what your city does or doesn't do, but nothing here allows for anything about local as far as I know.

When talking about immigrants and saying they are "Poisoning the blood of our country"
What does that mean?

All I can think of it meaning is that the speaker is worried about ethnicity becoming mixed, like mixed blood. As in, people of certain ethnicities, their blood is poison or bad and degrades the overall gene pool.

I'd like to think that this isn't an overtly racist troupe though, but I am struggling to think of a better explanation as to what is meant by "Poisoning the blood of our country"

Sure....the US is a capitalist economy, and consumerist culture. Our lifeblood is money....and millions upon millions of new poor ends up diluting the wealth of the nation.

It's impossible to take anyone's concerns about this statement...if they're on the left....seriously.

Imagine a construction crew engaging in 100 safety violations a day. Suddenly, when a new foreman gets hired....he mentions that he likes to have a beer to start the day. They all start whining and crying about this statement...claiming him unsafe.

Exactly. Notice that none of the people here complaining about voting by non-citizens (who they are calling illegal immigrants) never mention that they are not allowed to vote in federal elections or even acknowledge that they are legally here. It is VOTING in general they rail against unless the 'illegals' don't vote for republicans..

I don't have time to respond to everyone who posts. I'm just a blue collar guy who spends way more time working than reading and replying to stuff on a website. However, I am convinced that massive illegal immigration is a real problem and that the Democratic administration has done nothing to improve this problem. The Biden Administration refuses to enforce immigration laws but instead assists the law breakers, from all over the world, by simply allowing the illegal immigrants entrance into our nation and processing them through.
It is the Biden Administration that is poisoning our country. But to the Democratic Party, massive illegal immigration is something that they want to happen and they really believe assisting lawbreakers is a good thing to do.

Do you have anything to back those beliefs up? Without that, your "belief" is worthless. And since you still attempt to ignore it, how do you square your "belief" that Trump did not refer to illegal immigrants with "poisoning the blood of the nation" when Trump himself specifically says that he did?
