"This is the reality for Palestinians living in Gaza without the protection of a robust civil defense infrastructure. With no air raid sirens or bomb shelters, the more than 2 million Palestinians living in the besieged territory – half of whom are children – rely on rare phone calls or text messages from the Israeli military to alert them of imminent strikes."

In many articles there is no warning received. You expect a million people to run between bombs with their family? The so called warnings are not any excuse for the gruesome mass murder.
There government (Hamas) should have used some of their money to provide those resources instead of spending it all to try to kill Jews

Did this come to you in a dream? Or have you a source?

"
there have been reports by the Financial Times and others of at least one designated safe route out of northern Gaza being subject to an airstrike resulting in as many as 70 deaths. Hamas blames Israel for the attack—a charge that the IDF denies. (The FT report says that “analysis of the video footage rules out most explanations aside from an Israeli strike.”)

“What’s being done doesn’t meet the legal standards for what an evacuation should entail,” Shaina Low, a communications adviser at the Norwegian Refugee Council, tells TIME from the NEC’s office in East Jerusalem. “It should be orderly; there should be safety.” Indeed, while Israel may order an evacuation for imperative military reasons or to protect civilians, international law requires that it provides those being displaced with adequate shelter, hygiene, health, safety, and nutrition."
Yes Hamas prevented civilians from leaving

They’ve been taught since they were children that they’ll go to paradise if they die trying to kill a Jew.
These are just black-and-white small pieces of information. Both sides do horrible things, Israelis from the position of superior military occupational force and Palestinians from the position of guerrilla wars/terrorism.

Palestinians have more reasons to be desperate, though. Their daily life under the Jewish occupation is very difficult. They are second class inhabitants, abused and even physically beaten by 18 years old Jewish boys with guns and in uniforms. Or by armed illegal Jewish settlers, under the supervision of Israeli soldiers. Without water, food, infrastructure. While Jews are living in luxurious houses and bathing in swimming pools - on Palestinian land.

The Palestinians had their own land until they went to war with Israel in 1967 and lost it. This also displaced them and they became refugees but no Arab state would take them. They benefit politically from having them remain refugees

For those here who simply want to disseminate hamas propaganda you might want to take at look at this. This is taken from hamas body cams and security cameras and is incredibly graphic. So much so I won't post even the search address here. But you can search this out on youtube under the below title. Viewing time is 10:49. I am a firm believer that those who do not stand with Israel at this time is standing with hamas. There are no innocent bystanders here.

This shows us what hamas was really up to on Oct 7, about 0900.

To where? There is no safe harbor within Gaza. There have been numerous reports of Israeli strikes in the south. Israel has never denied this. At the same time, there is no where outside Gaza for the Palestinians to go.

The fact is, Israel if facing an enemy that is embeded in an area that is just 1/3 the size of the L.A. metro area. To date, Israel has easily dropped more ordinance on Gaza than the US did in 1 year of Afghanistan military operations. This has been one of the most intense bombing operations of this century. And now Israel is adding artillery strikes, using shells designed to cause deep impact in order to reach the Hamas tunnel network. Israel has issued new warnings to get out of the north, signaling the ground operations will probably intensify.

I truly hope Hamas' military capabiliy is detroyed. And I understand there are no eaasy military options. At the same time, I know that thousands of Palestinians will lose their lives, the majority of whom, simply want to raise their children and live normal lives.

Egypt wouldn’t let them in and no Arab state will take them.

They certainly do not benefit from their situation. Their daily life is terrible, they are under occupation, struggling to get elementary services, while Israelis behave like their masters, taking more and more of their homes and land.

Both sides need to stop illegal activities.

I didn’t say Palestinians benefit I said other Arab states benefit politically from their situation that’s one of the reasons they won’t let them in their countries.

If anyone is discriminating against a racial or ethnic group here...it's the Palestinians.
And the religious discrimination too. Anyone of any faith can visit the Jews Western Wall. Anyone can visit the Christian Church of the Holy Sepulchre. But visiting Al Aqsa and certain parts of the Temple Mount are highly restricted by Palestinians. If you try and enter, and you don't look Arab, the police will ask you if you're Muslim. If you say yes, they'll ask you to recite some Muslim prayers in Arabic to prove it. It's only the Muslims who discriminate.

Both sides hate each other. If you think that Arabs/Palestinians are full of evil, wickedness and hatred and Jews are innocent doves, just defending their bare lifes, you simply fell for a propaganda.

Only Israel discriminates from the position of state power, though. This discrimination is a systematic oppression.

Yes those were my exact words. Somewhere maybe. Not in this thread.

No. The Palestinian Authority controls the Temple Mount. You're not allowed to even carry a bible there, or pray there if you're Jewish or Christian.

I am talking about millions of Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank and Israel, not about one mount. People focus on small details instead of on the whole picture.

There are 200 Jewish-only settlements in West Bank - on Palestinian land. Palestinians live behind concrete walls and barb wires.

Israel withdrew from Gaza long ago. They want nothing to do with ruling it (who would?). Gaza is beautiful ocean front property, it would make for a lovely tourist resort. Instead they spent all the international aid turning it into a military camp to wage war against civilians.

Have you lived in Gaza? Do you really know the situation there? Have you seen what is all the international aid spent on?
