In fact, more terrorist groups have been victorious in achieving their goals than have been defeated by military action. When people see their homes leveled, family members killed, or entire communities destroyed by military action, it often leads them to support or even join terrorist groups themselves. Years of military action against Gaza and the Palestinians have become a rallying cry for terrorists around the world, and Israel's renewed bombardment of Gaza and the killing of innocent civilians is only going to lead to further violence, not only in Israel but in other parts of the world as well.

Yes, those are risk sas well. Israel understands the support they have from most global actors today will be temporary as the civilian death rate climbs in the weeks and month to come. It's a very difficult situation with no easy answers.

I've not yet heard any Israeli politician say this is a "War On Terror". This is a war on Hamas. Unlike Al Queda or ISIS or others, Hamas cannot travel because of the geography. There is an opportunity here to destroy at least this one significant group of savages. "Hamas delenda est."

Everybody seems to think as commercials seeking profit tell them, there is a bandaid cure for everything, but they never address the cause. Mankind is and has always been on an endless cycle of stupidity trying to cure things using the same methods that caused them. The Bible since the Garden has been telling us we have it backwards.
