The Palestinians are just people in all shapes & sizes just like the Israelis. Unfortunately, the Palestinians have criminals as their leadership whose focus is basically on being anti Israel & all else is secondary at best. This is not unique that criminals may have political power. Such was the case of Al Capone in Chicago or the emergence of increasingly powerful drug cartels in Mexico. Israel has governments that overall have positive intentions for their nation & the world in which they live. At times the Israeli political leaders can be hypocritical & cause much harm.


Compare Syria to Israel with the atrocities committed by all parties in the civil warfare that has raged since 2011 the so called “Arab Spring”. The Assad dynasties brutally crush internal dissent ( not that the dissenters are nice people either) and have done so for generations. Case in point, the 1982 Hama Massacre.

Clearly, the Israelis at least try to come to terms with their domestic issues with basic humanitarian intent. There is genuine political conflict within Israel on their issues.

Of course, all of this is cold comfort to anyone ( Palestinian, Israeli etc.) getting kicked around. Surely the beginning of trying to overcome this Satanic violence is to pray especially since most involved are not even Christian ( see 1 Timothy 2:1-6, Matthew 9:36-38 etc.).

What I quoted from you was you saying it was an anti-Semitic trope that Jews could control U.S. policy. (Which was a bit of a strawman by saying "the Jews" instead of "Jews", and saying "control" instead of "influence". Obviously, only the elected policy makers control the policies.)

So why do you think the British agreed to declare the Balfour Declaration? We all know of powerful groups which lobby politicians for stuff they want, like the insurance industry, the tech industry, etc. It must be rare in history that a minority group of individual people ask some politicians for a chunk of planet Earth and get it. I'm not sure even Google would be that bold. Do you think the British did it out of the goodness of their hearts? The British Empire was not much known for giving things away out of the goodness of their hearts.
