The Palestinian criminal system teaches children hatred and terrorizes people who want to live and let live.

That's not what the evidence shows. Israel kills Palestinians civilians regularly. Their land is regularly taken, their farms burned, their houses bulldozed, and their families displaced, so that Jewish settlers can move in.
The evidence is what it is...

Israel has several Palestinian members in the Knesset and they just swore in a Muslim supreme court justice in 2022.

And Arafat was on record as saying that his primary focus was getting Jewish people out of the region above Palestine actually being it's own sovereign state (something even other Arab heads of state criticized him for)

Again, to repost, here's what happens when Muslim majorities have Jewish people in their country

They force them out entirely over a period of a generation.

Very much a "we don't want you here, but we don't want you to have your own land either" As it is, Israel is a nation that's barely bigger than New Jersey.

Settlers took it upon themselves to do just that without even calling it a punishment.

Sorry but that's not true. The original settlers bought the land fair and square back in the late 1800's...
Israel has been creating new settlements and expanding existing ones in the Occupied Territories all along, in contravention of international law (and often its own laws). Just the most recent news.

Updates and related matters

The Israeli government announced in 2019 that it has made monetary grants available for the construction of hotels in Area C of the West Bank.[365]

According to Peace Now, approvals for building in Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem expanded by 60% between 2017, when Donald Trump became US president, and 2019.[366]

On 9 July 2021, Michael Lynk, U.N. special rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, addressing a session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, said "I conclude that the Israeli settlements do amount to a war crime," and "I submit to you that this finding compels the international community...to make it clear to Israel that its illegal occupation, and its defiance of international law and international opinion, can and will no longer be cost-free." Israel, which does not recognize Lynk's mandate, boycotted the session.[367][368][369]

On October 24, 2021, tenders were published for 1,355 housing units plus another 83 in Givat HaMatos and on 27 October 2021, approval was given for 3,000 housing units including in settlements deep inside the West Bank.[370] These developments were condemned by the U.S.[371]as well as by the United Kingdom, Russia and 12 European countries.[372][373] while UN experts ... said that settlement expansion should be treated as a "presumptive war crime".[374][375]

In February 2023, the new Israeli government under Benjamin Netanyahu approved the legalization of nine illegal settler outposts in the West Bank.[376] In March 2023, Netanyahu's government repealed a 2005 law whereby four Israeli settlements, Homesh, Sa-Nur, Ganim and Kadim, were dismantled as part of the Israeli disengagement from Gaza.[379] In June 2023, Israel shortened the procedure of approving settlement construction ... In [2023's] first six months, construction of 13,000 housing units in settlements, almost triple the amount advanced in the whole of 2022.

Israel, Our White-House Absurdities, and the Left’s Empire of Lies The Biden administration is furiously trying to contextualize its past, unsupportable policies that have sown global chaos, especially in the Middle East. But the more it spins, the clearer its culpability. Does it really believe that the long-agreed-upon U.S. green-lighting of $6 billion in sanctions relief to Iran has had no role in Iran’s terrorist support of Hamas, whether psychological or material or both?

Do they think we are that stupid? Even a first-grader might surmise that if a terrorist state knows that an impending $6-billion bonanza will shortly arrive in its coffers, then it will more readily in the here and now send arms to Hamas—on the logical assumption that those costs soon will be more than covered, while making the additional assumption that the United States is complicit in its own fungible use of sanctions relief cash, and thus not innately hostile to Tehran’s self-professed agenda. In short, Tony Blinken is either a naif, a fool, or to use his words “misinforming”.

Yes, Mr Hanson, you are stupid if you don't realize Hamas has been planning and preparing for this attack for years.

Fortunately, there appear to be no pro-rally Democrats. So the amount of 'split' is perhaps exaggerated.

This was interesting though: "The New York Democratic Socialists of America is the largest chapter of the national organization, but it did not appear to organize the rally. No leading DSA members were seen in attendance."

Report: Hamas is now chambered in 5.56 thanks to all the blasters Joe left in Afghanistan. Aren't you glad your taxes helped supply terrorism worldwide?

Perhaps Trump shouldn't have surrendered to the Taliban? But I'm not sure he had a choice. It was either that or stick around forever.

People have very strong feelings about this issue. Unfortunately, the majority of them are fairly shallow feelings, like, "There is no excuse for murder" only to say in the next breath, "The Palestinians deserve to die for what they've done". This double-think is evidence of a problem in the person's rereasoning.
Did you also defend the terrorists that took out the twin towers? Do you also defend ISIS?

Please stop supporting pure evil. It's not a good look for a Christian.

Israeli soldiers killed two out of five militants who crossed into Israel from Lebanon, an army spokesman announced. There was no word on the fate of the other three.

--

The Israeli military announced that its aircraft were engaging targets in Lebanon following the infiltration attempt on the northern border. It reported that three Israeli soldiers were wounded in the shootout.

(Hardly an invasion, but not a good sign.)

I'm not suggesting anything. What I see in your comments is inconsistency in the way you judge which favors one group of people over the other. You started out saying that there is "no excuse for murder" and you sounded so very righteous about it, too.

But, turns out there are plenty of excuses for murder, if you're Israelki.

I'm sure that's exactly what the Palestinians think every time Israeli occupiers bulldoze homes, burn farms, and kill Palestinian children, but you seem to think such "remedial action" should only be available to one side of the conflict.

For all your lip service to the virtues of justice, you don't seem to have much actual interest in it.
Exactly. Israel is *better* than "Palestine", and the aspirations of the Israelis is something I support, whereas the aspirations of the Palestinians is more like something despicable.

It's as if you believe God and Satan should be treated equally, but no, equality in everything is *not* justifiable.

@John Helpher, when people consider murder as the just punishment for building houses, they’ve crossed over to the dark side.

Nobody should *ever* be murdered for building homes.

...Come back! Come back to civility, people! They're just houses, for people who need to sleep.

On one side of your mouths you promote migration and housing the poor.

On the other side of your mouths, you justify murdering jews for home construction, because it's on the wrong side of some imaginary line.

..Double-think.

"Israel’s defense minister ordered a “complete siege” of the long-blockaded Gaza Strip on Monday, as its forces battled Palestinian militants in border towns for a third day and launched retaliatory strikes that hit a mosque and a marketplace in Gaza.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that “no electricity, no food, no water, no fuel” would be allowed into Gaza, in effect trying to cut off the crowded coastal territory already under a 16-year blockade."

Here’s what else to know:

  • Hamas’s armed wing, the Al Qassam Brigades, said that four Israelis being held by the militants were killed in an Israeli bombardment overnight, along with the Palestinians holding them captive. The claim could not be independently verified.
  • The White House said it had confirmed the deaths of nine Americans in the attack by Hamas and that other Americans remain unaccounted for. A number of other foreign nationals also have been confirmed dead or missing.
  • The Pentagon on Sunday announced it was sending additional munitions to Israel and moving more Navy warships, including an aircraft carrier, and combat aircraft closer to Israel in a show of support. The United States is working to fulfill several specific requests from Israel for military assistance, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken said, without providing details.
  • Schools remain closed in much of Israel, airlines have curtailed flights to Tel Aviv’s main airport and volunteers are donating blood and food.
  • Israeli security officials said at least 109 people were believed to have been killed at a music festival early Saturday when militants swept into the concert site three miles from the Gaza border. Videos show panicked concertgoers fleeing south into the desert and more than 100 abandoned vehicles on the side of the road.

Gaza Strip:

"The Gaza Strip is a 41km (25-mile) long and 10km-wide territory between Israel, Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea. It is home to about 2.3 million people and has one of the highest population densities in the world.

According to the UN, almost 600,000 refugees in Gaza are living in eight crowded camps.
On average there are more than 5,700 people per square kilometre - very similar to the density of population in London - but that figure rises to more than 9,000 in Gaza City.

About 80% of the population of Gaza depends on international aid, according to the UN, and about one million people rely on daily food aid."
