If the investigation turns up evidence of actual wrongdoing -- taking bribes, e.g. -- then that's important. But if all we have is that he used a pseudonym in online communications, almost everyone on CF is doing that right now.

There is a bit of irony here. Basically, if the emails were turned over to NARA, when Joe Biden left the VP job (which they had to be or NARA wouldn't have these emails), how is he "concealing" them? If Biden had been trying to conceal the records, he never would have turned them over to NARA -- where the whole purpose of the Presidential Records Act (under which the emails were turned over to NARA) is because Presidential (and Vice Presidential) records are "owned" and to be made accessible to the American People.

If I had to guess: My (likely flawed) understanding of the FOIA process is that you have to provide at least some parameters for your search / documents request and that, prior to folks becoming aware of these aliases, nobody knew to include them within the scope of their searches.

One of these days, you really should read the Presidential Records Act so that you will quit being so wrong about what it states:

"Specifically, the PRA:

• Establishes public ownership of all Presidential records and defines the term Presidential records.
• Requires that Vice-Presidential records be treated in the same way as Presidential records."

And it is amazing how on one hand Pres. Biden is claimed to be a "criminal mastermind" that is so wily that the Republican House is still having issues finding any direct evidence of criminality; but on the other hand so stupid as not not know that anything from a .gov email which involved the VP would be archived and sent to NARA. Would you guys make up your mind if he is a brilliant criminal mastermind or just an idiot who doesn't know how to hide his crimes?

You are already claiming that these emails are evidence of criminal activity -- why would he care about the legality of "confidential foreign policy information" in a private email if the emails are a part of criminal activity? Wouldn't it be smarter to "hide" the emails, despite breaking more laws (as criminals typically do), rather than make sure the emails are documented and publicly available?

Trump in an interview with Glenn Beck did just that: in one breath he said that Biden is completely "gone," not even knowing where he is; in the next breath he talks of how it is Biden personally running the indictments. The two statements cannot be reconciled but we hear it all the time from Trump and his supporters; we even see it here in a single post.

They contained pseudonyms....not his actual name. Remember, NARA is also sitting on those multiple boxes of documents from Biden's office. It would be nice if you could just ask for all incriminating records related to Biden but sadly....it doesn't work that way.

And I doubt he would have...if Republicans hadn't gained majority in the House. Regardless, you have to give Republicans credit....they've had to piece together the evidence from whistleblowers and bank records. The FBI hasn't been investigating Biden the way they did Trump.

I don't think anyone believes Biden is actually doing anything in office. When people refer to Biden...they just mean the team that manages him. He's spent nearly 40% if his time on vacation. Try to consider the big picture at the moment....

The IRS turned over hundreds of bank statements to the W&M committee. The Classified documents from his office can't stay in boxes forever. Hunter's plea deal fell apart and no new deal has been made. Hunter's business associate is trying to cooperate early to keep himself out of the clink. They're trying to speed run Trump into jail and frankly, it's backfiring. The audio of Poroshenko telling Biden he got Shokin to resign even though they had no reason for him to is out now...you can listen to it yourself. Shokin just gave an interview that the only reason he was forced to resign was Biden+Hunter +Burisma = corruption.

If none of this seems odd...it should. The rumor mill is that the Republicans have more audio, almost certainly of Biden taking bribes and whether it's from Ukrainian officials or Burisma....it won't matter.

The rumor mill is that they'll drop it in the next 2 months. Democrats are probably trying their best to make deals over who will go down for this and who won't...because it's not just Joe and Hunter, because Wray has been covering for them....Garland has been covering for them....Mayorkas has been covering for them. Harris has probably been keeping her distance the whole time just so she doesn't get dirty...but she's only going to play president for a year, I don't think they'll be running her for the nomination...

2 months...that's how quickly the media and the left have to come up explanations. The media has to try and pretend like they had no idea all along....Dems will try to figure out how to salvage any kind of campaign for 2024.

Now, that's just the rumor mill amongst the feds but it does explain a lot. It explains why McCarthy is moving ahead with impeachment proceedings despite "not having anything". It explains why Joe didn't want to leave his vacation for Maui....he knows his goose is cooked. It explains why Hunter's plea fell apart. It explains why the rush to indict Trump and the gang on some threadbare RICO case...they probably hope to put pressure on the minions to flip for the prosecution.

Did you see those mugshots though? All those grins? It's almost like they aren't worried at all...like they see charges dropped or pardons in their future...
