To ILLUMINARE all as to what the DISPENSATION of the MYSTERY the one having been kept SECRET from the ages in God , the ONE having created THE ALL THINGS/ TA PANTA by Jesus Christ .

Romans 16:25 and also verse 26 , having been made known to all the GENTILES and known why , FOR THE OBEDIENCE OF FAITH .

It doesn't say anywhere that Christianity began at Acts 2:38. And I don't know how you reached that conclusion. And I don't understand why you are comparing the baptism of Jesus with Acts 2:38.

I think I am going to believe Paul not you "For I am the least [worthy] of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I [at one time] fiercely oppressed and violently persecuted the church of God"

Salvation is always by God's grace.

But works were still required from Israel at Acts 2, otherwise they will not be able to maintain their salvation to the end (1 Peter 1:9 which says the same as Matthew 24:13)

In Acts 9:13 Ananias answered , Lord , I have heard from many concerning this man , how many evils he did to Your saints in Jerusalem ,

And in verse 15 And the Lord said to him , Go , because this man is a vessel of CHOOSING for ME , the one to bear My name before GENTILES , and kings , and sons of Israel .

SINCE Israel has rejected Him , Christ is turning to the GENTLIES .
