Any reasoning based on falsehood ends in a contradiction. Do you really believe someone who claims to know the system better than anyone else didn't know what a grand jury or a subpoena is? He's lying. "I alone can fix it" is a falsehood. That final sentence fragment from 2016 is notable, but truncated; the entire statement was "Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it.". That's a bit different context than you are suggesting as he is comparing himself from the insiders running against him.
I provided that statement from July 2016 to make the point that Trump's mind is carnal, as in self-serving/self-adoration/self-worship, trusting in his self above others. By contrast, the disciples whose faith are in Jesus, are taught to take the last seat at the table anticipating that there will be others more worthy than themselves.
Whereas in the Light of Spiritual knowledge we know that wisdom can only come through the Holy Spirit, and will therefore manifest humility in a person's character through a sincere thankfulness to God for wisdom; the darkness that occupies Mr. Trump's soul is being expressed in his desire to be admired above others, which is carnal vainglory.
Scripture witnesses to this Light of knowledge by stating that God exalts those who humble themselves and humbles those who exalt themselves, declaring that pride goes before a fall, and that the blind leading the blind will all fall into a ditch.
I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. Here are his words again:He is not only saying I am great and can do things. His first statement just says "it was great, it's not great now, it can be great again". That's it.
"You know, I've seen so much heartache and turmoil," I was a developer, and I did other things. And, you know, I had a wonderful, I had a wonderful life before all this stuff."
"I didn't know what a grand jury was,. "I didn't know what a subpoena; what is a subpoena? I had a wonderful life."
"I'm so glad they asked me the other day a little different question," Are you glad you did it? So you had a great life. Are you glad you did it? I couldn't be more glad. I am so happy I did it because I've made America great. We can do it again."
"Right now, we don't; we are not a great country," We are not a great country."
The context of how Trump applies "greatness" to America is qualified by the question "Are you glad you did it?"
Did What? Answer: Became President. The question is asking, "Are you glad you became President?"
Therefore, the context of how Trump applies "greatness" to America is his four years as President.
Trump is therefore expressing:
America was great when Trump was President: I am so happy I did it because I've made America great.
America is not great now that Trump is not President: Right now, we don't; we are not a great country,
If Trump becomes President again, America will be great again: We can do it again (vote him into power again = Make America Great Again).
Trump is expressing "his faith" in his carnal self and subsequently how America's greatness is dependent upon him being in power. All the MAGAdonians are the followers of "his faith".
