  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Has the Earth entered the Anthropocene Age, or not?

"On Tuesday they will deliver the last of their findings -- the location of ground-zero for the Anthropocene, the proposed geological epoch borne of humanity's outsized impact on the planet. "

Welcome To The Anthropocene, Earth's New Chapter

Kali Yuga, in Hinduism, is the fourth and worst of the four yugas in a Yuga Cycle …

It is believed to be the present age, which is full of conflict and sin. Wikipedia

Full of conflict and sin?

Looks like Kali Yuga is catching up to the Bible.

All classifications are artificial, designed to facilitate understanding and discussion. Therefore if this new classification is functionally successful the Athropocene becomes "real". If not, it will be abandoned. Personally, I think the Holocene meets our current needs just fine.

compared to what…

Compared to the natural order of creation that doesn't turn from what's good because it's not what one desires. Human mess up everything they get their hands in. We choose wrongly, and we're a blight on God's creation.

Atheists have no option to avoid the lower realms

Don’t you think that’s poetic

From what I can tell, fundamentalist Christians are a greater threat to creation by virtue of their denial of empirical data.
