  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please stay focused:

Jesus said, "I will observe the Passover."

How did any Jews observe the Passover on Nisan 14 before sunset?
please stay focused...they didn't. That was my point. You think they did.

Just want to make sure I understand you correctly:

None of the Jews observe the Passover on Nisan 14 that year.

True?

At this point, I am not even trying to convince him. I am just trying to understand his logic: the way he thinks :)
Thay is why I asked him which Messianic group etc. To get a better idea, for further discussion if possible.

I already answered that. You were not paying attention. Pesakh is on Nisan 14. That is the day the lambs are killed. It was the day Yeshua died.

Why do I need to budge?
I have simply noticed this in other discussions with you. The feast of firstfruits for instance. Despite scripture and Jewish practice you would not budge from what you believed and taught.

In what way? I know what scripture says as well as Jewish practice and traditions. Truth does not require "budging"...

You would not address any of the scripture, or practice in any way. You just did like you do now. Just repeat yourself. Firstfruits waa a seven week process, of the various species that were ripening during the season.

As each species ripened the first of each was brought through the weeks. Then whn the harvest was finished was the feast. But you made the feast to happen on the second day of the feast of unlevened bread. Before the other species were even ripe, or brought. You just wouldn't address it. Messianics refer to it as a feast as well. So, I just stopped and let it be.

The first fruits of barley were waved on the day Yeshua rose (reishit ketzirchem). He was the first fruits of them that slept. The first fruits of wheat were 50 days later at Shavuot. Bikkurim. It is all in Torah. Exodus, Deuteronomy, Leviticus. I made nothing up.
